How can a being procreate that doesnt mature and die? What would be the point? There are different types of angels in the Bible some seem human and most do not. We are projecting a human trait onto something that we know little about.

Angels can take human form. They can eat and drink. So why not sex?

God told humans to go and multiply and fill the world not angels.

If angels cannot die then there is no need to procreate themselves. Sex was created so that people and creatures would have someone to take their place seeing death had entered the world.

The truth is we cannot know for sure what angels do. But the Bible suggest that they were created to serve God and praise God. They are made a little higher than we are. They are made as or into spirits. Their spirits can inhabit spiritual objects such as God's chariot described in the OT. No mention of procreation however.

The only mention of procreation was that Jesus said they do not marry. So. If God has humans marry in order to procreate, then would not the rule apply to angels as well?

Another thing that makes me think that the sons of God were not angels is that I do not see angels today on earth. I have seen evidence of them but not themselves. Did the rules change after the flood? by that I mean, why would they be allowed to have children with men then and not after the flood.

"Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. " Genesis 6:1.

The Sons of GOD are not human. "when men began to multiply on the face of the earth" these are humans. After humans started populating the earth, THAN the Sons of GOD got involved.
There are many different created beings. Angels, Cherubim, Seraphim and yes, "Sons of God". An alternative explanation is given here by R.C. Sproul. Is he right? I don't know for sure. But I also don't know how primarily spirit beings (angels) can have physical relations with humans.

So once a couple has 4 or 5 kids do they stop having sex? If a couple cannot have children, should they stop having sex? For humans, GOD said "The two shall become one" That does not happen with animals. There is something else going on there.

luke chapter 3, ...Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.
Luke 3:38. Adam, which was the son of God — Adam, being descended from no human parents, but formed by the power of a divine creating hand, might with peculiar propriety be called the son of God, having, in his original state, received immediately from God, whatever the sons of Adam receive from their parents, sin and misery excepted.

i used to think it might have meant holy men looked at worldly women but now i believe it means the older men that could live 900 years plus. i have heard that the bible uses gender when it names different angels suggesting there is a male and female angel. i havent looked through this myself to know for sure

So few of them are even named to begin with (that is to say, that we know of, not that they
are not named... we just don't know very many names of angels as they are not told to us)...

Genesis 6 happened before the flood.
And Nephilim happened before Genesis 6.

1Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, 2the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose.

3So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever,a for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”

4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days when the sons of God had relations with the daughter of men. And they bore them ( a pronoun referring back to the subject previously mentioned; that is, the Nephilim) children (who became the might men of old, men of renown.

So, not only were the sons of God taking wives whomever they chose in those days, so were the Nephilim, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth. But, why should the sons of God be equated with the Nephilim as if they are the same group?

The Nephililm were born from the relationships angels had with the human women. Unless you're saying there were other people on the earth with Adam.

Is the idiom "one flesh" restricted to a sexual sense? They are one flesh in the same sense that if you touch a man's wife, it is the same as touching him. Sort of like poking the apple of God's eye if you mess with any of His people.

...when men began to multiply on the earth... yea? The root 'nephil" means a 'feller,' there were Paul Bunyons, so to speak, on the earth in those days, and also afterward. There still are. When Andre the giant goes out drinking at a bar, he has to have a police escort in case he stumbles and fall on the clientele.

oneness in marriage reaches far beyond the physical level. The original Hebrew word translated as “flesh” refers to much more than a person’s physical or sexual composition. It relates to the whole human existence. The biblical view of “one flesh” communicates a unity that covers every facet of a couple’s joint lives as husband and wife. In marriage, two whole lives unite together as one emotionally, intellectually, financially, spiritually, and in every other way. The “two shall become one” in purpose. They are so close that they function like one person, balancing each other’s strengths and weaknesses so that together they can fulfill their God-given calling
