God never anywhere addresses angels as sons.
This is my take on the occurrences of the phrase sons of God
Genesis 6:2 is speaking of men
Job 1:6 is speaking of men
Job 2:1 is speaking of men
Job 38:7 Appears to be angels which to me is confusing.
Matt 5:9 is speaking of men
Luke 20:36 not only men but contrasted to angels
Gal 3:6 stipulates the requirement of faith in Jesus
Romans 8:19 is speaking of men
ALl the references to me are speaking of men as sons of God except for Job 38:7 which says "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"
The chapter of Job 38 speaks of our lack of knowledge but speaks of Gods knowledge it speaks of both the creation and of the last days.
So Job 38:7 seems similar to and reminds me of Rom 8:19 "For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God."
To me if every occurrence of the phrase Sons of God is speaking of men who are believers, then Job 38:7 would be a one off exception which seems out of place, because the phrase in the bible speaks of men every other time, and because it does its not necessarily a rule it does every time, it could mean angels and it appears to be.
But I dont know I think there is something I dont yet see or understand about Job 38 so Im just going to keep an open mind about it, if someone one day comes up with a logical reason why they think its indeed Men being referenced here I am going to look at what they say with an open mind, under the microscope of scripture for sure. And it already makes sense to me they will probably be right
