I have come to believe that the 3rd soil are saved, but with no rewards. They will be the least in the Kingdom.

But I do not believe the second soil is saved. They perished because they had NO ROOT in themselves.
Jesus is the Root. They were never truly born again. He never knew them. All they had was a false confession.
The 2nd soil, "believed for a while".

Thus, they were "saved"...i.e. they had spiritual life: just not everlasting life.

Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Rom 5:1, Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2, By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Philippians 1:6...He that hath done a good work in you will continue it. God is both the author and finisher of our faith. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
I say again, the latter three type of ground are living plants.

Promises in the word must be apprehended by faith (Hebrews 11:33, 2 Corinthians 1:20, 2 Peter 1:3-4, Romans 4:20-22).

Yes, but 2 groups did not possess life that remained. It wasn't the life of God. When He sets His affection on someone it is forever...nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I know a preacher who was honored to be banned from over thirty countries he tried to go to to spread the gospel. The US gvt paid a bounty to other gvts and the medias of those countries to ban him.

I know someone who knows what it's like to be kicked off a forum for standing up to those who threatened his life and he reported them to the moderator who banned him. It was a bad day, no doubt, but hardly a murder. Would the members have killed him if they had a chance? They said they would time and again, even burn him alive. He took the death threats seriously, but didn't die or back down from sharing the gospel with those who had ears to hear to the day he was banned.

In context I was addressing the absurd comparison of a stranger being banned for whatever reason and that of the death of someone. The death of a person should never be cheapened by the inappropriate comparison.
When a moderator bans a godly minister, he is in effect killing him as concerning his voice in the community.

If he couldn't do it by pressing a button, he would have done it by killing him if his preaching became "incessant".

Spiritual life comes by faith...and we know that soil types #2 and #3 had faith.

It begs the question, at what point does faith become permanent so that the life that is produced is everlasting?

Because these soil types definitely had life...for they are living plants.

The person who was banned was a godly minister?

It's quite the leap from a ban button to actually killing. I think you presume far too much. Godly minister is subjective. A person can simply be banned for incessantly breaking rules.

According to Psalms 94:20, some rules are simply unjust and to break them is not to violate the principle of love.

Galatians 5:22-23, in light of Psalms 94:20, tells us that if we live according to love, we will not violate any just law.

So, if a minister is godly and breaks the rules, it follows that the rules that were broken were unjust ones.

I didn't say that.

I said that in the case of godly ministers, when they are banned, it counts as martyrdom.
I see, martyrdom, right up there like being fed to he lions.
When someone is banned they do not die and no one caused their death, not comparable.

As concerning the minister's voice at that message board, the effect is the same with banning as if they had been killed.

The motivation for banning a godly minister is the same as in the old days when they used to kill the saints for preaching the gospel.

They are banned because people in authority don't like what is being said by them; and they want to squelch their voice.

Ephesians 1:13-14
:)
So, those who are soil types #2 and #3 do not believe?

Because it says specifically of soil type #2 that they "believe for a while and then fall away."

I will say again that promises of scripture, in order to be apprehended, must be apprehended by faith (Hebrews 11:33, 2 Corinthians 1:20, 2 Peter 1:3-4, Romans 4:20-22).

And someone may have faith in Jesus and yet not apprehend certain promises of scripture.

Faith in what? If it had truly been in Christ it would have stuck. And it would have produced fruit. That is the nature of the new creation.
Some may attach themselves to many things dealing with religion. The rich man who lifted up his eyes while in torment could identify father Abraham, but not Christ. His religion introduced him to Abraham, Moses and the prophets, but not Messiah.
Likewise, people are introduced to the church, the liturgy, the songbook, and the minister, but are never truly introduced to Jesus.

It would seem they did not "believe in their heart."

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

It is a given that when it says, "they believed for a while" that the object of their faith was Christ and Christianity.
