Yes and I did all I could to help him understand that but at the time there was a thread on the subject and this was more than brutal as some hard head came on here created the thread and sadly he saw it and got involved with this guy before I could get a hold of him.

He had a family that never understood him and he always felt alone this guy was smart too as he draws you in as seemingly sincere but then eventually shows his true colors.

So it was a tragic situation and that is one of the stories I have as God seems to draw these type of people into my life one way or another I met one about three years ago who is one of those people you only hear about those people who literally just by being shown actual care understanding and just listening was brought to tears and was shocked to find out I was a Christian he literally told me I was the first actual Christian he ever met

So this is why in a way I am not unaware that accepting being transgender is a sin I also know the damage that telling them what they have heard over and over again is not going to reach them they have heard it all before

And rather honestly with this I find results much more just by getting to know them just showing an actual interest creating a connection
The man simply was not elected to salvation before the foundations of the world...

Rom 9:21, Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Rom 9:22, What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23, And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 9:24, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

...so don't worry your brain over it.

There are four types of soil in the parable of the sower and only one type endures bearing fruit to the end.

One of the types is not a believer at all.

Two of the types are believers in my opinion (the shallow ground and the thorny ground)...the plants grow but one dies quickly for lack of moisture and the other is choked out) for all practical purposes.

If one type the shallow soil, falls away, then that indicates that "believers can fall away"

And if another type is choked out by thorns then that indicates that believers can be overcome by the world.

It is only the fourth type of soil...an honest and good heart that bears fruit an hundredfold (Luke 8:15), that can be said to have eternal security as it is promised to us in such passages as John 5:24 and John 10:27-30.

Therefore, if two types of soil do not have eternal security, and they are believers, then a believer can lose forgiveness.
So those who do good works have eternal security?
So we are saved by our works then?

Scripture states there are two states of being ... saved (justified) and unsaved (not justified (yet))
A saved person (believer) has eternal life.

In the latter three types of ground, you are dealing with living plants.
Agree, they have responded to the good news and were saved.
Yet not all live the life that was available to them instead they were overcome by other cares and desires.

I have come to believe that the 3rd soil are saved, but with no rewards. They will be the least in the Kingdom.

But I do not believe the second soil is saved. They perished because they had NO ROOT in themselves.
Jesus is the Root. They were never truly born again. He never knew them. All they had was a false confession.

The Rich Man and Lazarus 😊
The rich man is Israel and Lazarus is the outsider.
Israel failed to be a light to the nations and would suffer in the near future because of this.

We have done it yet again. Flushed an honest and repentant seeker down the toilet.
We have done no such thing.

First off, we don't even know why he was banned. It could have been discovered that he was a past banned member that wasn't supposed to be here.

I'm not sure what post would have gotten him banned, but I trust this site with that kinda of thing. IMO they have been very gracious and judicious in banning people.

Also, if you read the thread, virtually all those he labeled a "hater" were NOT!

We simply showed him his error. And he claimed to be a Brother in the Lord. So in that sense we are required to correct him.

Certainly, the Pharisees were hypocrites, however a lot of what Jesus did was to condemn the power elites of His time, and they knew it, He was disrupting the status quo.
He kept warning them but they remained obstinate and proud.

I love reading Matthew 23. I feel Jesus’ passion when taking on the Pharisees.

Philippians 1:6...He that hath done a good work in you will continue it. God is both the author and finisher of our faith. Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

For sure and how the people suffered under their tyranny.
But God had the last word when their seat of power, the Temple, was destroyed by Titus in 70 AD.

See! Your house is left to you desolate” (Matthew 23:38).

This mirrors what happened in the days of Jeremiah: “I have forsaken My house, I have left My heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of My soul into the hands of her enemies” (Jer. 12:7).

Your house, not His house.
They knew the scripture and didn't see it coming.
It is fascinating on so many levels.

I am not sure this parable is about who is saved and who isn't, interpreted that way just causes all types of problems.

I am a transgender woman. Been so since I was 3 years old.

I gave my life to Jesus the Lord and to God when I was 14 as a teenage girl in church. I was happy as happy can be after that feeling saved, then a series of incidents at age 17 brought depression to me, etc, I did the bisexual thing for a while, I did drugs, parties, clubbing. I was a model and met 100s of celebrities.

My good friend who is almost like a brother to me for 29 years now, and who is a great man of God, told me once you are saved you are saved forever. I dont exactly believe that because lets say you are saved and then sleep with your neighbor's wife or kill someone?

I wear mostly men clothes because as a child in 1976 the transgender topic wasnt as well understood and I became used to boy clothes. But I also wear make up, and nail polish and dresses sometimes.

I came here precisely because I have been wondering if my transgenderism will condemn me to hell. I pray every night and ask Him to save me. Every single night. I want to go to Heaven. I know He is the way.

I love Him but worry that He will condemn me because of the scripture that says "no man shall wear a woman's clothes", the problem is in body I am a man but in mind I am a woman! And studies made from the brains of dead transgender people suggest that we are born with the brain, not of the sex we are born as but of the opposite sex! You can look that up and maybe you will say thats just liberal doctors saying that but I dont know that and neither do you. So it might be indeed that there is a reason we feel this way, if we were born with the brain of a person of the opposite sex.

Besides, children are born with heart disease and with AIDS so who is to say that we are not born with the wrong brain? Doctors think it can happen!

My nephew is also transgender, that makes me also think there might be something in my family's genes.

But I pray every night, as I said I love Him and pray to be saved and go to Heaven one day. Even as a woman in a man's body.

(Ed: Im not bisexual anymore, I like women exclusively-in the LGBT community they say I am a lesbian but biologically speaking, just like biologically speaking I am still a man, well biologically speaking I am heterosexual again)
It's clear from his original post back on page 12, this person knew what he was doing is wrong and he was afraid he'd wind up in hell. He attempted to justify his transgenderism by saying there are scientific studies that show it's possible for a man to be born with a woman's brain. He came here looking for people to back him up and tell him not to worry, everything is hunky dory and you'll go to heaven. When myself and others didn't play along we were immediately called haters even though we were respectful. It was simply because I wouldn't agree with him and tell him what he wanted to hear that he became angry. No one flushed anyone down the toilet; he did that to himself.

However, when certain godly ministers are banned, it is the same as martyring them.

If they had been standing right in front of certain moderators and preaching, and those same moderators did not have the option of pressing a button in order to squelch their voice, I have no doubt that if the preaching became incessant they would burn those ministers at the stake in order to squelch their voice.

I am not necessarily talking about these boards.
I know a preacher who was honored to be banned from over thirty countries he tried to go to to spread the gospel. The US gvt paid a bounty to other gvts and the medias of those countries to ban him.

I know someone who knows what it's like to be kicked off a forum for standing up to those who threatened his life and he reported them to the moderator who banned him. It was a bad day, no doubt, but hardly a murder. Would the members have killed him if they had a chance? They said they would time and again, even burn him alive. He took the death threats seriously, but didn't die or back down from sharing the gospel with those who had ears to hear to the day he was banned.

In context I was addressing the absurd comparison of a stranger being banned for whatever reason and that of the death of someone. The death of a person should never be cheapened by the inappropriate comparison.

Certainly not!

Gal 5:22, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The fruit of the Spirit is not good works.

Those who believe are living plants (as in the case of soil types #2, #3, and #4).

Only soil type #4 is those who are of the elect.

They had spiritual life; just not spiritual life that would last for ever.
