Think about this. Johnson and others like him know Contemporary Christian Music has the power to bypass critical thinking so suggestions can be planted in people's minds. What does Johnson have against teaching? Is he afraid people will start to think for themselves and see him for what he is? Does he prefer it if people put their Bible's away and believe whatever he tells them? I think so, that's pretty obvious.

Actually you not on ignore I just don't bother dealing with you anymore. Galations 5 in no way indicates that anyone should listen to anyother person on thos forum, especially one who espouses poor doctrine and certainly not backbiter who talks around another.
What I NEVER find on these "religious newscasts" are stats on how many churches are closing & how many run to the megachurches to be entertained. WHO in christian news mentions that we are smack dab in the Falling Away? NONE!
You would think christian news anchors would be warning the people of what's to come, but they're aren't. Most are smooth-talking ear ticklers.
Isn't it great how many independent churches are springing up? Not really. I visited one about a month ago that sets up eating tables in the main room & eat during every service. The "pastor" wore a t-shirt & shorts looking like he just finished mowing his yard! Lots of music & eating, while no real order. He says he's feeding the visitors who are poor, but it's the members who are doing all the eating.
This is only an example of where the church is going.
Show me an easy church that entertains with exciting music with no conviction, & I'll show you a church that's going to go thru the Great Tribulation.

Christians ought to be like the Bereans, not only to check the preachers theology, but especially the praise & worship to make sure it's not full of "Me Songs" or like this one that states that speaking the name of Jesus is all you need to do everywhere.
Raising your hands & saying 'Jesus' won't get you anything but a feel good.
Please, be more careful with what you listen to & post as christian. False worship has become bigger than the false teachers & false prophets combined.

I ddid a lot of research and had wise council on a forum for Christian Philosophy they taught and explained it to me andf when I said the reason why I was wanting to learn it and spoke of only a few things you said to ask if it is considered philosophy.
One of them explained to me about gnostic emotionalism and all kinds of spiritual groups that are blending in to the body ect. But not only are you on a dangerous road honestly I think you just like the feeling of being spiritually filled I don't think your wanting to go further and you were all for basically anything I said no martter what until this fight between us.
Suddenly your calling me a troubule maker and the rest of your posts about me were just not worth reading you fliup sides so quickly don't you and yet I told you that if I am friends with someone it means something you however showed that as long as I agree with you we are best buds but if I should dare question you and try to help you see the danger that I explained to you that I know of because my sister is in this stuff I know the signs the red flags.

Sharing a christian song between friends seems to be critical too.
Its no wonder why this world is so confused about christians or so called christians.
I believe everyone is entitled to there opinion but to express it to derail a thread, to criticize others, to sow discourse is pathetic.
This whole forum imo is the condition of the church in general and its a sad one to say the least. May the Lord forgive us all.
The title of this thread "its time to shine saints" refers to the light that is in you ....not the glitter of your sword.
We have all been given freedoms in Christ Jesus, some profitable some not but none the less they are freedoms.
I thought we could rejoice in the fact that the Lord was moving even in the midst of the storm we are all dealing with in this present day. Some of these responces say different.
Faith comes by hearing....hearing brings hope....spirituality is a discipline to be mastered.
