the little country church in north ga. ( us) that my mother is a member of still has the Christian flag and the american flag standing on either side of the pulpit.

from the pastor's point of view the Christian flag on the right, the american on the left.
Dad's was the other way :)

To those who claim to follow Christ and love this show: Are you still a fan?
I don't watch any shows so I have no idea about "The Chosen". However, there was a lot of positive feedback from Christians earlier on, so it might have been a biblical depiction.

But why didn't someone snatch down that stupid gay pride flag and burn it on the set, while having the world watch that? That would have been a powerful message to the LBGTQ activists (as well as to Christians). All those excuses about something being "private" and not public is pure hogwash.

Sexual perverts have gone well beyond the limits of what is expected from perverts (with the help of politicians and the media). They want to pervert the whole world, particularly children. But there is little or no pushback to this demonic war against righteousness and sanity.

What’s a Christian flag?

I will just add 2¢ more.
We all probably don't like what the devil has done to co-opt everything decent and twist them to his purpose. The inclusive nature of entertainment means that there will be many homosexual cast and crew. Why do I think that?
It's because I was offered the option of pursuing a 4 year degree leading to a career in entertainment, acting in particular.
After much prayer and consideration, I realized that it was way too far gone for a Christian to be around a bunch of Sodomites constantly. It's the norm in theater, and other areas of acting.

I've seen religious art exhibits, for instance visited the Bob Jones University as a teenager. I took art history in college. I attended a church that had a passion play. Our pastor concluded with a short gospel invitation to trust Christ as Savior. The actors were invited to perform on Broadway by some producer. That reminds me of a verse. They turned it down.

There are plenty of exposures that we all have to art that depicts what someone thinks Jesus is like.
My problem with that is that the Bible never gave commands to portray or depict an image of His Son. I realize that not everyone worships those depictions.
Our view of Jesus should simply come from the Bible. I'm sure some of you get that and have a Bible reading schedule.
I have a personal aversion to depictions of Christ in acting format. I just don't want my view of Him to be influenced in any way by anyone other than the Holy Spirit and His Word. That's why I avoid drama and extra biblical books about our Savior.
Many will disagree. Not that it matters what I think, I just want to be open and honest where I am with all kinds of drama depicting Jesus. Many of us are looking forward to seeing our Lord.and our God. I'm glad we have not because it means an extra special blessing.

John 20
"27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

It was not a flag, but more like a sticker on someone's personal property.

As Christians we are not encouraged to destroy other people's property.

A case could be made for righteous anger and a zeal for God's glory.

I'm saving my righteous anger for when I see an Israelite consorting with a Midianite woman.
One of my sons is named Phinehas actually.

I take that to be after the son of Eleazar and not Eli .;):D

If I'd have had a son, I would have named him Nathan, or Nathanael.

I did, actually, but still born. Nathanael means "God/El has given" or "Gift of God/El."

Job 1:21B and 13:15A

I gave all my kids biblical names. I figured one day they would ask me why I chose those names and it would be an opportunity to share the gospel.
Stephen Isaac
Josiah Enoch
Phinehas Jabez
Hezekiah Simeon
Lydia Anna
Elisha Boaz
Mary Hannah
And yes, son of Eleazar. If the last girl had been a boy, his name would have been Gideon Eleazar.

For those who might be curious.
LOL, this guy's a joke. One thing he makes clear in this video is The Chosen isn't a Christian ministry and he will partner with anyone. If someone from the Church of Satan showed up, he'd hire them too. He didn't say that, but that's his belief and attitude.

I'd have nothing against anything Jenkins says if the so-called Christian content he says the show delivers was actually Christian. He says it's a show about Christ so that makes the content Christian; but that's incorrect. How about The Last Temptation of Christ? That was a movie about Christ. Does anyone think its content was Christian? Jenkins states The Chosen, Inc. is a for-profit corporation. That automatically makes its first priority turning a profit for the shareholders. The actual truth of the content takes a back seat.

He also uses the example of Solomon using pagans to help build the temple. That's true. But where in the New Testament does it teach that believers are to partner with unbelievers or unrepentant sinners? Sorry Jenkins, it's not there. However, this becomes irrelevant when we understand that The Chosen, Inc. is a for-profit corporation, not a ministry.

Dallas Jenkins is a master of the half-truth and a smooth-talking con artist.

I dont know much about the producer of the film and have only seen a couple of episodes or so. What I do know is that they have made millions aware of Christ, some have even turned to him because of an episode that they have watched and that they have felt drawn. That is more people than all of us put together on this site have led to the Lord. As far as his wrong doings, well that is between him and God and if he has done wrong God will judge him accordingly. Right or wrong, good or bad many have come to the Lord because of this series.

Depends on what you mean by "turned to him." If it means they repent of their sin, start to study the Bible for themselves and get grounded in truth and sound doctrine I say fantastic. If it means they continue to be influenced by false ideas about Christ and Christianity perpetuated by The Chosen, Inc., well, not so good.

No one needs The Chosen to be saved.

Those that seek will find.

I didnt say they need the chosen to be saved but the chosen has made people aware of Christ. America has its background in Christianity but here in Aus it is as aethiest as you can get. Even the older generation dont even acknowledge him here and the younger generation, well its like they have never heard of him. The film has been good here for that reason.

I had a feeling out of everyone you would give a negative reply. Not everything is negative.

You're looking for the negative. If you read what I actually wrote it was quite fair and balanced.

Yes that is true, sorry I just re read your comment and it was indeed fair and balanced. I am on the defense from many negative replies on threads.
