That’s not what I’m advocating. Did you even read my opening post? The allegory is lead into a deeper conversation with a bible in hand is my theory. The allegory may drop their guards and opposition to the gospel and allow a conversation to continue where the gospel can be presented.
I read your opening post and appreciate your desire to lead folks to Christ.
I have had opening conversations using whatever topic was at hand. It was often animals, nature, current events, whatever was of interest to the listener. God led me, but I had to present His clear gospel, I Corinthians 15:1,2,3,4. Galatians 1
No matter the other topics or connection you have with someone, salvation depends on the right message led by a believer with God's power, and His Word, John 16:8-11.
After talking to a CSLewis fan, I would borrow any of the gospel presentations above and practice by going out and reaching those in nursing homes and assisted living. Most are in bad shape and don't have much time.
