I find that difficult to believe, brother... :D

Look, we are both speculating here.... you speculate that if there was a "generic man" that they would have been sinless. I speculate that that would be a very unreasonable expectation, given the nature of human beings.

All I'm saying is that there could have been humans (male and female) created on the 6th day... they were told to go out into all the world, be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth.

Then, God began HIS chosen race of human beings.... sons of God, Adam being the first. Adam, and his wife were placed in the garden, presumably to live there in perpetuity. That does not match up with the 6th day creation of male and female.

Our Bible is the telling of the story of God's chosen people. There could have been thousands of years between the creation, and the placing of Adam into the garden.

This is all purely speculation on my part.... thinking "what if"..... because my theory would explain so many of the differences between science and the creation.
Not sure if I posted the following link. It was very informative. https://creation.com/images/pdfs/tj/j11_1/j11_1_106-110.pdf

You need to use the most original Greek for the New Testament.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything done on it shall be exposed.
I have just looked up 2 peter 3:10 in the Greek translation in bible hub

Elements is translated to
στοιχεῖα
stoicheia in the Greek bible

When you translate στοιχεῖα
stoicheia to English it comes back as meaning data ?

I lean toward a young(er) Earth.

I believe it's at least 6,000 years old, but not anywhere close to a million...........

I've just also translated the Hebrew Bible
It comes back as this

The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night, and the heavens will suddenly pass away and the foundations will burn and melt and the earth and the deeds that were They will burn on it: 11 And now if all these will be consumed, how much more must you go

you have to see that the foundations don't disintegrate in this translation and see that earth and deeds will burn on the foundations of earth when they become malten lava.

so once again I would say the foundations are eternal from this

this was my first inclination funny enough of your translation

Still having a Eureka moment ?

See how far off those translations are and you personally searched and kept getting the same answer.

The same Erasmus Textus Receptus translation from the literal 10th Century Latin, that was completely bastardized the moment Jerome died.

not sorry at all, ive done my research. erasmus even admitted to it and basically said he was forced into doing it. it's factual history. it's part of why so many false doctrines are in place over getting good at understanding a mistranslation. here, this will help you out as well:

Is the Septuagint the same as the Tanakh?

The Septuagint does not consist of a single, unified corpus. Rather, it is a collection of ancient translations of the Tanakh, along with other Jewish texts that are now commonly referred to as apocrypha.

What does apocrypha mean?
apocrypha, (from Greek apokryptein, “to hide away”), in biblical literature, works outside an accepted canon of scripture. The history of the term's usage indicates that it referred to a body of esoteric writings that were at first prized, later tolerated, and finally excluded.

What is Esoteric Writings?

a personal interpretation!

Which is why, I follow the Same Instruction, for which Bible, God Commanded Moses, to place into the Ark of the Covenant. Which was then, Commanded by God, to be placed into the Holy of Hollies, of God's Temple. I Figure, what God requests, as which Bible He chooses, should be more than good enough for me to do the same.

That is why my Old Testament views come only from the Torah/Tanakh itself.

anyway, back to this Verse:
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything done on it shall be exposed.

and the earth and everything done on it shall be exposed:

וַיֹּ֖אמֶר מֶ֣ה עָשִׂ֑יתָ ק֚וֹל דְּמֵ֣י אָחִ֔יךָ צֹעֲקִ֥ים אֵלַ֖י מִן־הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃
“What have you done? Hark, your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground!

it's too bad we cannot date/age the Earth by Sin and then go back 5 days before Adam.

no, it's in your 10th Century Latin Vulgate meaning.
mine, is before Jerome touched his first copy.
Well I couldn't go of Jerome myself as to which is why i posted a Hebrew translation which indicates the foundations of the earth where not disintegrated but rather used to cleanse the earth, which when you think about it signifies the foundations consist of purity and something that is eternal and from heaven 🙂

You know how each Law, of the Laws of Physics, generates the power to work as they were designed to?
God, is the substance and power keeping the Laws working.

Now think about these Laws are working. Gravity/Magnetic/Electromagnetic/Inertia/Speed/Thought/Reason/Mathematics/Energy
Suddenly, a Miracle happens.
In order for a Miracle to happen, these Laws have to STOP their Function to ALLOW the Miracle to happen.
how is that Possible?
GOD, is the FIRST LAW!
the FIRST LAW sets the other Laws into Order and can Manipulate the Laws whenever God so chooses.

I'll look at this in a bit but Jerome didn't translate the Hebrew to Greek did he?. Just occurred to me I thought he translated Greek to Latin.

I'm not sure but hasn't Latin progressed to Italian Spanish and French and Latin is supposedly a dead lauguage now.

I know that latin has a different alphabet to Greek.

I original translated the first reply to you in Greek not Latin.

I totally forgot I haven't even mentioned Latin unless I have ?.

When I looked on bible hub I definitely hit the Greek translation ?.

So I'm not sure how we progressed to Jerome.

i mentioned latin vulgate posts ago.
jerome admitted to taking the Septuagint and translating that into Latin.
Now, we already know the Septuagint is not biblical.
and here we have jerome not going to the Hebrew and translating it, but using the Greek and translating that.
Just more proof to my point.

I'm not sure if we can bring the law of physics into it ?. I would say that an object that is controlled by the law of physics doesnt nesacrily have to stop as it can be made to move in an oppersites direction by another object controled by the law of physics but it woul still keep its original function of motion.

there you go, that is fluid motion because the Laws of Physics are godly and of the same substance as God.
smartest thing you posted so far.

the Laws won't stop as God fluidly maneuvers through them/Angels/etc.
