The way alot of people play pinochle may well be a sin.
Rook can be played the same way the 2 games are almost the same the difference is the markings on the cards. The way a lot of people play life may well be a sin

No, they have no place at all; but people are so entrenched in their worldly customs and idols there's no turning back for most of them at this point.
I agree with you, because God and Jesus agree with you.

Several verses come to mind.

1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

How do you NOT OBEY the gospel of God? Some of you will know what the scriptures say and some of you will know what your church taught you.

Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

What are man-made traditions? How do these man-made traditions make the word of God of none effect? Traditions are most often fun, and bring together family and friends. So how does that make the word of God of none effect? It doesn't, UNLESS you have add or diminished from the TORAH (INSTRUCTIONS/LAWS). All the Christians I know, do not keep the LORD's Feasts (See Leviticus 23).

Are you aware of the Greek term for tradition? Let me show you something very interesting for all to consider.

Strong's G3862 παράδοσις
π(pi=80) + α(alpha=1) + ρ(Rho=100) + ά(alpha=1) + δ(Delta=4) + ο(Omicron=70) + σ(Sigma=200) + ι(iota=10) + ς(Sigma=200) = 666 (man's number)
paradosis
par-ad’-os-is
From G3860; transmission, that is, (concretely) a precept; specifically the Jewish traditionary law: - ordinance, tradition.

I put it on the same level as making the temple a house of trade if done in the church building.
I know many see these things as harmless but IMO I do not
And here I was thinking Bingo was a way for seniors to rest their wearied worn out limbs while
having a little bit of harmless social fun. Thank God my own church has not degenerated into
the sinful practice of Bingo! Then again, I am older than many/most among our congregants.
But you say, church building. We do not meet in a church building, either. Home-based Bible
studies also. And we have been known to serve coffee. Coffee is not Biblical. Is that sinful, too?

I'm glade the Wise Men didn't have you to teach them.......... :)
Right! There is a difference between astronomy and astrology. Satan loves to distort the Creators creations and their original purpose, which by the way, are still their purposes.

This screenshot is from Stellarium (a free awesome app). The date is 9/11/3BC (-2). This is Jesus' birthdate on 1st day of 7th month - Feast of Trumpets.

You might recall or do a google for September 23, 2017 and that the sign "once again" shows the Revelation 12 description. Here is what that looked like.

Do you think Christ established our churches to teach us about the Kingdom of God and does not want to teach anything about the kingdom of the world?

When Nebuchadnezzarii (ruler of ancient Babylonia) conquerored Judah to send Jews to Babylon to live as prisoners, they lived in a land very like our land today. The people looked to the stars and idols to quide them, as people do today. Instead of metal and stone idols, they use man made rules in self help books and psyciatry. Every newspaper today gives an article about what the stars say about people's star sign.

Gradually, the Jews accepted the ways of the pagans they lived among, as the Christians of today are accepting the pagan ways of the pagans we live among.
I under stand people feel about these things,

Yeah, I wonder what is sinful about Bingo... .:oops:
We are speaking about using bingo in the church as a way to praise and worship God. It is to instruct us about the kingdom of God. Are you suggesting that bingo is a fine way to do that?

What is wrong with you?
Who plays bingo anymore?
No one ever attempted to make bingo about praise and worship or to instruct about God, ever on this earth.
It was only ever just a way or reason for old church ladies to meet up at the church and socialize with eachother. Much like any of the other numerous ways to get church folks to hangout together at the church.
