Unlike money, time is the most valuable thing we possess. Spend it wisely and understand the seasons.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
Understanding the season you are in brings great clarity to time management.
If this is a season of mental illness, stop using your time to numb it with escapism, drugs, alcohol, or prideful denial. Get the help needed to uncover the underlying issues and the guidance necessary to heal.
If this is a season of mourning, do not feel rushed to get back to normal because this loss is the new norm. It takes time to learn how to accept, heal, and cope with the loss.
If this season is a constant war within your marriage, do not expect peace while war is at hand. Satan wishes to destroy what God has defined and ordained. You must fight like your life depends on victory. Defeat sin, flee from Satan, be the peacemaker, seek God's guidance, and give God time to work. Peace only comes by great strength. Not our strength but God and His alone. Only then may you see peace as you find victory in the war.
If this season is a time of illness, it is time to fight. Not to fight alone but resist the feeling to shelter in place. Seek help with coping in groups where others are traveling the same path or have already faced the same battles you face. Victory comes with an abundance of counselors.
Proverbs 24:6 ESV
For by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in an abundance of counselors, there is victory.
Understand the seasons for that is the reality you face. The past is gone and the future is not yet here. The present is all we have. But what we do in the present greatly affects the future. Access your reality and choose to make the best of the time you have.
Life is eternal with the soul. The flesh may perish but the soul lives on. What you do in the present dictates your eternal future. Give your life to Jesus and secure the blessings of life eternal.
A life that gives you the reality that this present is not the best to come. The pain and sorrow that sin and death bring is not the end. For we are here only but a second in comparison to eternity.
But this is all we know, it is hard to imagine such a place beyond the here and now when the pain, fears, and sorrows feel so heavy.
God uses the imagery of a woman in birth pains to portray a season of pain in understanding that the season to come brings joy and tears of happiness. This pain is temporary for the times are preparing to bring forth new life. Life eternal, a new body (resurrection), a new Earth, new heaven, and a new Jerusalem.
God is patient with judgment wishing that none will perish. He waits for all that He has foreseen who will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He waits until that number has been reached and like a thief in the night, the end comes unexpectedly and without alarm.
Always be aware of the season that you are in. Money will not buy you more time. Your time may increase your money but there is always a cost.
