Does the Bible support the idea of a spinning ball earth flying through space, or is that a Satanic, Masonic lie?

Some of it is literal, some of it is not.

We have to discern what is and what is not.
I wholeheartedly agree. But not everyone is going to use the same standard you settle on.

Not exactly. And if you can't explain in your own words that's ok but I'm not going to do homework.
The explanation is on the web page I linked to. It is not an essay. It is an organized 'visual' of related scripture verses in a chart/table.

But patterns are important in scripture. Where God uses similar language, He is linking ideas and events.
In the example I just told you about - the verses referred to are all "linked" to a singular particular future 'event'.

Again that's my point...some people link those verses to a past event. It's a matter of perspective given one's understanding of scripture. But language similar to that is used in other places as well.

That is okay - we will all find out on Judgment Day how well what we "settled on" worked for us in the realm of truth.

I am only trying to warn folks - from my own understanding and experience - some of the things I believe they should be aware of...

I'm glad you and others do. It causes us all to open ourselves up in our own assumptions. But unless it's concerning salvation, perhaps it's just sharing and not warning.

What do you think this proves? Have you called the company to see if they believe the earth is flat? Try going to flatearthinc.com... Their domain name is for sale.
 FLAT EATH, INC promotes the flat earth.

If you so much as have a true desire to know the truth and are truly willing to try to gain a proper interpretation and understanding of these 'cognitive dissonance' types of Bible verses/passages, then you are "way ahead of the rest" of those who choose to "take the easy route" rather than "take the bull by the horns" and seek the truth. Those who are not willing to "do the hard work" will get a poor return on their [lack of] investment.
Hear that folks? The Flat-Earthers are "way ahead" of the rest of us!
Those who have a true desire to know the truth - "even if it hurts" - are "way ahead of the rest" of those who do not care enough to put forth the effort to even make an attempt to try to understand the truth.

My statement quoted in the previous post was not specific to Flat Earth; rather, it was more generalized to 'difficult' Bible verses/passages - including but not limited to Flat Earth associated verses/passages.

You don't seem to be there, Gary.

Yes, the Bible does portray the earth as flat because that's what the writers thought. They had no concept of the vastness of space, our solar system, galaxys, etc. We now know, or certainly should know, that the earth is not flat. Rotely believing that the earth is flat because that's how the ancients in the Bible portray it demonstrates that a person does not care enough to put forth the effort to even make an attempt to try to understand the truth.
