Calvinism isn't true, Cameron.
If you don't want to have a discussion that's OK. But Calvin didn't write the Bible. I have quoted scripture, not Calvin. I deal with you respectfully even though we disagree on some things. Show me from scripture.

1 Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Eze 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Rom 10:
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Acts 19:26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

Rom 10:
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Matt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth [be saved].

God wants everyone to be saved, and man has the inherent capacity to choose to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ or reject it.

All great scriptures. Who produces hearing?

A person can decide whether he wants to "hear" the gospel or not.
You quoted Romans 10...hearing by the word of God. And Matthew 13 says hearing was given to some, not others. Those verses suggest the opposite of what you have stated. People may choose to believe, but they seem to do so in response to a seeking Shepherd. Isn't this why preachers are sent?

Preachers are sent to preach the gospel, to give people the opportunity to hear it. Once people hear it, it's up to them whether to decide to believe it or reject it.

Again, we return to what constitutes biblical hearing. But I appreciate the conversation.
