So it's pointless to continue then, isn't it...
for not being JW, you chose a man, whose research is displayed all over the JW's website.

Ulrich Luz : https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines/wp20151201/

incredible, how many answers have you given that i can trace back to the JW.

i'll just leave it at this then, what you appear to be, is very well hidden because you deny it.

but, you don't deny rejecting Jesus as God.

you might as well be JW minus the arch angel baloney.

I have never heard of Ulrich Luz.

Oh, I see what you did. You saw the footnote at the bottom of the commentary and "shot from the hip" and assumed all the information in that commentary came from him. It doesn't.

I have never been to that link before, and I saw nothing about "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" at that link.

i'll just leave it at this then, what you appear to be, is very well hidden because you deny it.
What do I deny?

but, you don't deny rejecting Jesus as God.
I believe the Bible. I believe Jesus Christ. I believe Paul.

you might as well be JW minus the arch angel baloney.
Again, you seem determined to lump me in with the JWs. If it boosts your ego, or feel that it somehow puts me down, do whatever floats your boat.

i am lumping you with other like believers who deny the Deity of Christ.
it's a natural thing to do is to understand how we all believe and see who is closest to our belief. it's not a slam. it's a practical thing to do.

OK. You can lump me in with Paul, Peter, John, the rest of the apostles, and Jesus himself, too. One day you'll be lumped in with us. 🙂

since this only pertains to the New Testament, can you tell me then Who the WORD, that John says IS GOD, made Flesh is?

...and the Word was God
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us
^
Who is this? has the WORD made flesh made an appearance on Earth yet?

We've been through this. God's Word is His logos. His will, plan, purposes. A logos is not a "he." God's logos was made flesh when God miraculously caused Mary to conceive His human Messiah, Jesus Christ. Another way to think about it might be that God's plan materialized. It came into being. It came into fruition when He caused Mary to conceive. Jesus Christ is called the Word of God (Rev. 19:13) because he is God's plan that came into being.

so, Jesus is a robot basically?
btw, since you've claimed Jesus is the WORD, what about John calling the WORD, GOD?
is God's robot [paraphrasing what i think you mean but not as a literal robot] Jesus, the WORD, God or not?

Jesus is not the father and the father is Not Jesus.

Call me what you like for saying that.

But don't hold someone unsaved for believing this.

The father has ultimate authority in heaven

Jesus has ultimate authority on earth.

Simple as that.

No, and I have no idea why you would think that.

The manifestation of speaking in tongues is never described as speaking a known earthly language.
Pay attention to the words in various contexts and if you are seeking truth and reality you will recognize that the word glosse in the Greek means "language"

Tongue is just the archaic word for language.
Example: He spoke in his native tongue.

Here is the same word used by John ( 1 John 3:19)

18My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. KJV

Read Corinthians and use the word "languages" instead of "tongues" and it is undeniable that Paul was addressing known earthly languages if one reads the letter with correct hermeneutics.

We have information now, this is not the turn of the last century where people were fooled by false teachings.

We don't have information now, we have biased morons with degrees that can get away with lies.

The Church Fathers prove them wrong. They were there and closest to the source. That's the TRUEST PROOFS we Ever need.

To say we have information now when no one alive today was there 2000 years ago to be a witness and offer up such information, is the most stupid thing anyone could ever say.

You don't even know who Jesus was before He was Jesus.

I am well aware that "tongues" is languages. If someone said they "speak in languages" there may be some question as to what they were talking about. But when someone is talking about "speaking in tongues," it is usually understood that they are talking about the manifestation of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Read Corinthians and use the word "languages" instead of "tongues" and it is undeniable that Paul was addressing known earthly languages if one reads the letter with correct hermeneutics.
No it isn't.

oh, the irony.....

He was a glint in his Father's eye. That's all.
Begotten means not physical birth but adoption, like God has adopted us.

For Jesus to be a real Son in the sense of being a GLINT IN THE FATHER'S EYE, a female has to be involved.

You just described everyone born with a dad.

The WORD has no parents, the WORD IS GOD!
