The Love and Sweetness of Our God



For God so loved the world that He sent His only son was planned from the start

Everything our Master does and says is given with a gracious heart



To us, and the largest beast to the smallest sparrow’s bite

Feeding us all, each one, it’s His delight



He cannot change who He is, beautiful in generosity as well as power

Loving mercy and justice and His name a strong tower



Who is the author, who is the life behind the lamp of the living words clear

It’s the One that gives sweetness as honey to His word calming our fears



Shall we send fire from heaven to burn them up that misbehave?

The answer was the heart of love…”I came to save”



How wonderful you are, draw us too as your loved one, John

There is nothing but the blessings in Jesus, given by the Father upon



Romantic love, Man and Wife, Marriage together a reflective picture

Of our Loved Master and us, persons and the peopled church in mixture



How irresistible You are Glorious One

Father, Spirit and Son



You gather us closer, Holy, Holy, Holy we sing

and love you in return for the sweetness of your embracing love you bring

Thanks for saying it’s beautiful!

I am only saying in poems about the beautiful One I love. Writing sometimes is saying what I see He is. Sometimes we are very close and I can no longer tell if it’s me or Him writing the words about who He is. I guess there is some organizing work and rewrite i do, but how can I take credit, because my very being is made by Him, and His Spirit in me speaks about Him. So in reality I can never do anything without Him.
