This came to my thoughts when I was with God this morning.
The human body as gross as it is to me is also fascinating. The way the human mind has always fascinated me the idea that we have such a complex being made in a way that doesn't happen by chance what makes it work is that he knows my interests and this morning I thought it is actually kind of interestingg how the human body was designed as if to show our need for him.
We constantly need nurtition from food but food to him is his word and feasting brings life and makes us whole.
We constantly need lots of water our bodies are made mostly of water but one sip from living water and your body is filled more than hydrated the human skin requires moisture or it gets dry as if the flesh itself cries out for living water
What we eat and drink effects our whole body but it occured to me there was always a focus on that in scripture and as gross as it is we eat and our body digests what is given it takes what nutition it can and gives it to the rest of the body while sending less or just nonnutricious out.
All this affects how the body functions what our bodies do aligns with what scripture says think about how often the body or the flesh is mentioned in the bible think also how our bodies also work like machines they need to be used or they get slow rusty out of shape sluggish they need to be properly managed and more than that they are always working.
People would be surprised how great it feels after a long day of genuine hard work it is also good for mind and body as it keeps us busy and functioning.
God speaks a lot on work and he is not one for lazy workers and the body seems to speak this.
The human muscles only grow by tearing and rebuilding itsle fover and over God does a lot of tearing and rebuilding doesn't he? the suffering the muscles go through makes them stronger the more you stretch the more loose you body becomes and more flexable to me this is kind of God's way of saying hey bro let loose and relax with me for a bit.
Just some thoughts really
