God and I have been talking a lot about you and now I only feel compassion for you because I know now this persona you put on is not what is really going on.
Scary talk ... Reads like some one is trying to develop the old common enemy so to build sides.

Wow seems Christians cannot have a civil discussion on the meaning of a word.

Exactly....

Because cult members are happy being involved with their cult. I've been happy with my times in church. Even when the church is being destructive in my life.

Christianity is extremely easy to turn into a destructive, overbearing, controlling cult. It's been done often in times past. It's being done today. Which is one reason why Saddleback needed to be tossed by the SBC before they became something more horrible....well worse than what they currently are.

Then don't read listen. I don't have any concern about sides this isn't about you or me it is about any one of us Go at me if you wish say whatever your heart desires but don't forget why we are called to discern.

It isn't just to discern spirits it is also to discern what is happening in each others hearts this is why you don't read what someone says you listen to what their saying,
When online words do not have a natural tone even those who are very close can easily misunderstand a text this is even more of an issue with us because we read what each other are saying but often times fail to discern the spirit behind it.

That is why communcation with God and really learning how to listen is so vital he sees what we don't if you are open to it he shows you and if he shows you there is a good reason for it.

I often times have to go away from everything and sometimes just lay there hours talking and listening with God certain people pop in mind sometimes and they become the topic of discussion. This when he revealed me to me what was really going on and my heart softened and I understood.

For all the backlash and snarky comments I get do you see me backing down? Is it because I am delusional ? is it because I am full of myself? is it because I think I am better than anyone here? The reason is because I am not here waste my words or time I have a purpose a reason for being here other than debates and squabbles. I was willing to listen first then act I don't respond a lot of times to negative comments because it isn't about me.

It is about planting the seeds of the kingdom it is about proclaiming God's desire for us to rededicate ourselves to him fully not partly not half way all the way not soon now. I don't see you going around willing to be mocked and ridiculed for the cause of Christ, What do you do with your gifts on here? What is the true purpose of your being online? if it isn't for the kingdom and if it isn't to do as we were commanded to do then why are you here?

By all means if you have a problem with how I work with God then step up to the plate and do what I am doing. And mind you this is with my health putting in the hospital many times constantly struggling to see and even having enough energy to clean my room the more I work for God the more the enemy comes at me but I keep the coursee because I am kingdom minded I don't ask God why he wants me to do or say something I hear I obey.

Do you remember the parable of the talents? how the kingdom is like planting of the seeds? I am a slave to Christ and and so he uses me I love working for him it is a joy even when I feel aweful.

Are you going to be outworked by a blind dying crippled guy?

Purpose or agenda. I'm leaning toward agenda.

personally, any Follower of Christ, who has made living for God into a complete relationship can not be a part of a cult system.

when I think of Christianity and Cults, i think of the churches who are adopting faggots for preachers and lesbians for church leaders and transgenders for Sunday school teachers. anyone who has SEVERED their soul to be good with SAME SEX and Transgenderism having key roles in the Church probably on their way to hell, possibly. so, why isn't anyone waiting for them to pack the church full of faggots and then drop a bomb. it would be so much better for the Movement of God! even though, it is very sinister :sneaky:

Your idea of what you think the cause of Christ should be. Sure, I can see that.
! Corinthains 3:6-8 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

Cult and Christianity are like peas and carrots. They aren't necessarily tied to a specific church either.

Look at Christian Nationalism. It is a cult but doesn't have any one specific church tied to it. The current leader (Donald Trump) is very much opposed to many of the ideals of Christianity...but Christian Nationalists keep promoting him anyway.
The LGBTQ/woke crowd is another cult...very "antiChristian" as well. But the identity warping, cancel culture, and etc is very much identified with cult behaviors.

I get that you feel uncomfortable with the way I'm describing things...because you have a very understandable affinity with Christianity and Jesus. So do I. You don't want to hear negative things about Christians. And in truth I'm not slamming Christians...only those who have stolen and misused the label but hide in and amongst the Christians to the point of being considered leaders in the community of believers. Like it or not but many of the current cult behaviors inside Christianity today stem from past leadership like Hillsong, Jerry Falwell, Benny Hinn, Creflo Dollar, Jim Baker, and many other televangelist. These people were not good for the cause at all. Amassing great wealth for themselves and a culture inside their organizations.

I hate the current "bait and switch" type of thing going on in Christian circles. They all promote hate as a primary purpose....they dont say that....but in truth they are.

You, Paul, and Apollos. Right.
