The title of this article link is: What is the Purpose of Sexuality if I am Single, however it’s scope is much broader

When we belong to the Master, everything belongs to the master. Struggles to overcome sexual sin may be intense and painful but success can be had through completely and humbly becoming nothing before Him and acceptance and of whatever pain there is.

There can be (He is the One that decides) the great reward of understanding how greatly He loves you and how much greater you love Him than the sin.

We are made to love Him and our hearts long for Him.

If people desired intimacy with God as much as they desire intimacy with another person, then this would be a greatly different world in which we live.
 
Our Master loves sex to be in the proper context of Marriage and the scripture concurs in many, many places.

So can we have an intimate relationship with Him in marriage?...of course we can. Sex in the proper context makes Man and Woman one. Two loving Him together is a great blessing of His. This also is the Ikon of the relationship we and the church have with Him, especially the unity with Him.

Godly Children are why I believe He gave us this strong drive.

Even being married and having this union frequently in marriage makes the sexual tensions less, but the temptations will come up that are unique and will take lots of His grace and the acceptance of suffering something on our part (pretty minor compared to the Saints suffering). Its baseline, nothing to write home about. Why I posted what I did is an attempt to those struggling that you can, with God's grace, have mastery of your passions and be very in love with the master!

hello I under stand how you feel, I m single to, we are dead to sin read romans 6 dead to sin alive to God, this chapter will help, and if you read chapter 8, that we don't walk according to the fresh but according to the spirit, we are over comers, we over come by the blood of the lamb, you have the holy spirit living in side of you, he is the teacher, when we study the word then apply the word in our lives, God then gets the Glory, we grow, to more like Jesus , God bless you sir,

It is not always so but I want to experience His loving company all the time. He accommodates that longing frequently.

I think if I could do a search on CC of "Sex Threads" as opposed to the "Love Threads" I am feeling pretty confident the Sex Threads would outnumber Love Threads by 5:1 if not higher.

So I guess we can conclude that Christians have love all figured out, but cannot figure out sex.
