No, not really.
Was it Adam created on the 6th day, or was it just mankind in general?
If it was Adam, why did God tell him to rule over the fish in the sea? I'm no geography expert, but as far as I know, there is no sea in that part of Turkey...
And why was mankind told to rule over all the animals in all the earth, and to be fruitful/multiply, and fill the earth, when Adam and Eve were placed in a rather small, localized area, in a garden?
Why does Genesis 1 say that God created male and female... when he obviously created Adam, then afterward decided to create Eve.
Because Adam is the Federal Head, who represents all humans after him. When God gives instructions to Adam, he is giving instructions to him and his entire race that will come from his loins. A similar principle exists with Eve.

Also, remember that God gave these instructions before Eden was plated. Adam was not created in the garden. He was first created, then given instructions, then placed in the garden later. This means God had Adam in other places before Eden. So it is not unreasonable to say Adam never saw the sea and its fish. Adam clearly understood what God was commanding him to do.

Before the fall man was eternal. Time did not exist and was not measured. Since we don't know how long Adam was around before he fell, I tend to think the earth has aged 6000 years since the fall
Eternal means without beginning or end. Only God is eternal. You may say Man was immortal, however.
And I have NO problem with the young earth thinking.... that's what I "assumed/believed" all my life. I have just recently began to wonder about the differences that seem to be between Gen 1 and Gen 2-3.
None of which would change my belief in God... none of it is a salvation issue... like I've said, it's simply speculation and a theory on my part.
Genesis 1 highlights God's creative work of the entire cosmos.
Genesis 2 highlights God's creative work in Eden, specifically.
Genesis 3 highlights the means and reason for God's redemptive work.

So, then you think Paradise is in Turkey? Because that's where Eden was, and the garden was in Eden.... out of Eden flowed 4 rivers, including the Tigris and Euphrates... at least according to Genesis...
The total destruction of the flood (including vast geologic upheavals), and subsequent disasters (think Peleg and the division of the continents) leaves the location of Eden pretty much impossible to determine. Sure, the Turkey is a decent guess....but who really knows.

Gen 1: summary overview
Gen 2-3: more detailed higher resolution analysis

Very common Hebrew construction and thinking.

BTW....the "gap theory" definitely has something going for it. Satan did fall before the sin of Adam.

Take a look at some of my posts on this thread. I am fully convinced that the correct technique to ascertain the collective span of the genesis genealogies is to SUM the ages of the patriarchs (with exceptions). There are MANY rock solid biblical precedents with which one may support this method.

Brings us back to about 11,000 BC. Add in gaps and you are talking 20K-30K to Adam.

This rubbish about a 6000 year creation is ridiculous.

BTW.....the Hebrew Vorlage and LXX must be used for genesis genealogies. The Masoretic has undoubtedly been corrupted in 100AD by rabbi Akiva.

I don't know how old the world is, the bible does not date it. Man likes to try to date it though. In my studies I have found, that God communicates what he wants us to know.

"The devil is well practised in falsehood, by which Adam having been led astray, sinned on the sixth day of the creation, in which day also he has been renewed by Christ."

Absolutely FALSE.

1Ti 2:14
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Which is the PRIMARY REASON that Adam is a "type of Christ".
You desperately need to find out what is going on there friend. Chronister has that topic covered. In staggering form.

Then you are saying that Eve was not the first woman created. Correct?

this falls between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2?

I do feel comfortable about entertaining this idea behind Lucifer's Flood.

What really is interesting, the Conditions behind the Theory of Lucifer's Flood, does match very well to Science's own last known World deep freeze that they would claim killed off the dinosaurs.

Definitely a Theory that has enough merit to dissect.
