Just curious: How many would answer the phone these days?

With robocalls, scams, and all your real friends texting or facebook/snapchat/whatsapp/etc contacting you, who actually takes a phone call anymore?

If I called you right now, would you answer?
 
Me? I always answer... But it's only because I like to have fun with scammers. :devilish:
 
In all seriousness, my phone hardly ever rings. I mean, when you basically have no friends (and I truly do not have any...well, an acquaintance or two), and when your own family despises you because of your Christian faith (and they do), then who is going to call you?

Suddenly, I need a cookie...lol.

I am the same way. The only person who calls me is my dad.

I have extra milk and willing to trade for a cookie lol.

I am in such bad shape that I do not even have any cookies...lol.

Seriously, I have some people who are friendly with me at work, but that is mostly due to my idiotic sense of humor. I pretty much keep people in stitches at work.

In my personal life outside of work?

I honestly cannot remember the last time that I did something or went somewhere with a friend. It has definitely been years. Many years. I just grin and bear it by the grace of God while doing my best to serve him. I would call Dial-a-friend, but they would probably put me on hold. lol.

I can give you a really kicking recipe for cookies.

If I tried to send you any, they would arrive stale and crumbled. Nothing says disappointment like old, crumbled cookies.

Just keep making people laugh. Aside from praying for them, that's all we can do for people these days.
 
I don't have any "friends" at work.....just a work wife. We are in a work truck Monday thru Friday. When I'm at home I'm mostly in my room or doing chores. That's why I have a hard time witnessing. I'm not social. I know the lord wants me to and I want to for him and for others. I could loose a little weight but I could eat a couple of yummy cookies

Probably I would answer you, because it would be a really weird number. I get scared of unknown numbers that aren't weird, in case they're the Feds trying to bust me for more taxes or such. Sometimes I answer, but only if I'm feelin' lucky! :cool:

What type of work truck, if I may ask? Hey, at least you have a wife.

As far as the witnessing goes, start with baby steps...like maybe with the Christian t-shirt thing you were talking about. I used to be totally socially awkward myself, and now I have a very outgoing personality. Yeah, when I go out, everybody else gets going in the opposite direction. lol.

I very rarely get an unsolicited phone call. Used to get them frequently on the landline but I don't have that anymore. I answer. I have notifications turned off for any social media that I might have an app for and am not active on social media anyway, so I'm not pestered with too many notifications.
 
This is weird.
You don’t have a lot of friends and family who call you?

I have an average of 5-6 calls a day from friends or family and rarely like once a month a scammer makes it past my junk filter. It was a guy who was trying to sell me a solar roof.

Also, if you called me of course I would answer …if the Caller ID says “Lynx from ChristianChat.com”
