Wow you must be desperate. Jesus asked them to answer him, they refused. so he di dnot answer them back. I have answered every question you have asked. Yet you refuse to respond to 4 basic questions which any prophet of God could answer. And you keep making lame excuses as to why you refuse to answer. Keep on making these excuses, all you do is expose the true you!

If you knew who sent me you would believe. You don't know Jesus very well.
Do you ever hear a prophecy or tongues and interpretation where God speaks or do you just assume He doesn't use King James English when He wants to?
if my earthly father came to me speaking KJ English. I would think he lost a scew, or he did not care about me and was talking down to me. I would not expect my heavenly father to do what my earthly father would not do. Why would you? God speaks to us as his children. Not mocking us by refusing to speak in our own language!

He might even talk down to you then. Who are you to tell God how to speak? You have no Scripture. You make God angry. Why do you think you get to decide based on what you think?

You did not answer my questions. Giving those scripture did not answer my questions. Those scripture did not answer who baptized me into Christ's death and burial. or who baptized me into the body of Christ. You just trying to stall because your afraid to answer, or can't. I don't know which. But there are no other reasons you would not answer.

So you have one doctrine and you think it makes you right all the time. I told you what I believe and gave you Scripture, which you ignored. You can't answer me either. How did the apostles recieve the Holy Spirit in John 20, and then still need to be filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2? You tell me who baptizes with the Scripture. By the way you never give the answers to your own questions. Give me a Scripture.

If you had alot of understanding of scripture you would have NO PROBLEM answering my questions about scripture. So why do you keep running from the questions??
You didn't like my answer that doesn't mean I run from you. What a joke.

I know Jesus quite well. And I know Jesus would not run from a question concerning the word he gave us. He would freely answer the question because he would have nothing to fear.

I did answer you. I have answered you a few times. Do we need to go back so we can show you??

you have never answered. Your still running. Why? Are those questions so hard?? Are you THAT SCARED???

PS Could you learn to quote. It gets old trying to correct your quotes.

I will even go one better. I will answer again. Prove to you that I am not running. You might not agree with these answers. and thats fine. We could discuss it further. But to prove your the one running.

So you have one doctrine and you think it makes you right all the time.
First off. Who said one doctrine? And what kind of answer is this? Makes no sense whatsoever!

I told you what I believe and gave you Scripture, which you ignored.

I did not ignore. You just think I did. I have answered you and others many times.

You can't answer me either. How did the apostles recieve the Holy Spirit in John 20, and then still need to be filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2?
I already told you this. God gave the HS on a temporary basis before pentecost. Many times he entered people and then left them.

Jesus told them much later, When the Holy Spirit comes to you

Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

which supports my view. Why would the HS need to come back into these men if the Holy Spirit was already in them.

of course I have told you this before. Even if you do not agree with we, at least we would have a basis for discussion because I answered you. when have you answered my questions?

You tell me who baptizes with the Scripture. By the way you never give the answers to your own questions. Give me a Scripture.

Um, I asked you the question. Answer and then we can discuss it.Just like I answered yours!

I don't care to keep talking to you. I think your doctrine stinks. The Holy Spirit never left the apostles; you made that up. They recieved the Holy Spirit in John 20 and were filled with the Spirit in Acts 2. No where does it say the Spirit left them. If you don't understand what I type then I don't care. I'm done talking to you. It's pointless. Don't you see you add things to the Scripture.

LOL!! So which is it? I don't answer you. and when I do. (a second time) You still make an excuse as to why you refuse to answer my questions?

Johns thats your opinion. and thats fine. You free to your opinion. You state I am wrong. And the verses I use to show why I can't agree with you you refuse to even look at.

You see it goes like this. I disagree with you. You asked me questions. I answered you.

You say I am wrong. I ask you questions. You run as far away as you can from answering my questions.

I think you just proved to the whole chat room your true intention. You think your right. everyone else is wrong. and everyone better answer your questions. but you don't have to answer anyone.

God would not do this. Christ did not do this. Paul did not do this. All it leaves us with is one determination. You can't be from God. for if you were from God. you would not even be running from these questions. Because if you were from God. you woul dhave nothign to fear. and could EASILY ANSWER.

I am not adding to scripture. I am taking scripture for what it says. Jesus said in acts two when the HS COMES UPON YOU. Those are JESUS WORDS. Now how could the HS COME UPON Someone they he is ALREADY IN??

But thats a different subject. You refuse to answer basic questions. Because your scared. no other reason! everyone sees this. unless they are blind

Looks like everyone ignored it or are thinking of their answers. I understand it makes one a target.
lol it looks like no one really understands why I posted, Linda. Oh well. I'll talk to you later.

to clear the record. I believe there are prophets today and that God has not changed

however people are deceived and too arrogrant to even ask God why I posted and instead assume it is out of disbelief.

You don't have to give me the answers to any of the questions, but if you think yourself a prophet you should answer them for yourself.

anyways....I'll shorten it...

Has it changed since OT, NT, and now? If yes, why?
researching it, which is an way of saying I don't know

how would you advice a child of God to recognize false prophets?
they get mad when you question them, point to themselves and not to God for answers

How would you lead a lost soul to the knowledge of Christ as Lord and Savior? depends on the person

do you have visions and dreams from God? yes

How does God speak to you? through everything in life

do you believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God? yes

What does the Sword of the Spirit mean to you? knowing how to use God's words, power and Spirit to cut the bonds of lies and illusions and sin that have people held captive and slaves to Satan

Do you believe in angels and demons? I believe they exist and neither should be Worship, only GOD

what is the difference between prophecy and prophets? one is the spoken word and promises of God and the other is a person who does the speaking

so what are you responses to the questions?

hi anada.

i knew why you posted it, and i didn't answer because i knew this: "I believe there are prophets today"

i've left it alone since you have not given prophecies of your own of late.
i hope that continues, and i do hope you'll continue to search the scriptures for you will find, if you do believe the foundation was laid once for all, there are no more prophets.

love zone.

Yes,
In the OT prophesy usually looked toward Christ. provided new revelation, or warned of impending punishment if the children of Israel did not repent.
In NT prophets look toward the end. And helped to build the new church.
Now? Whenever God needs to direct someone, or to speak to another of Gods children. I do believe God can and will do this. As for warning. The church has enough warnings in scripture. If they will not listen to scripture. they are not going to listen to a man who calls himself a prophet. Thus no need for this type of prophesy anynore. As for new revelation. Scripture is enough. If God wanted us to know more, he would have added it to his word.

how would you advice a child of God to recognize false prophets?
A true prophet will know and understand Gods word, especially the gospel. and would not distort Gods word. A true prophet would not get mad when questioned. For they would not need to be mad. they would undertsand it was God they were questioning, not the prophet themself. Finally, a true prophet would not puff himself up or brag about being a prophet.

How would you lead a lost soul to the knowledge of Christ as Lord and Savior?

Depends on person. Some people need shown different ways

do you have visions and dreams from God?

Sometimes I think I do

How does God speak to you?

Through his word, through others in the body, Circumstances of life, and through my mind

do you believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God?

yes

What does the Sword of the Spirit mean to you?

The sword is the offensive/defensive weapon of the soldier in biblical times. The Spirit is the one who arms us with this weapon. Scripture is this weapon. Jesus used this when tempted by satan (it is written) I am reminded of a passage, Thy word i have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against thee.

Do you believe in angels and demons?

Yes, Angels are spiritual beings who followed God and rejected the rebelion. Demons are the ones who rebelled with satan.

what is the difference between prophecy and prophets?

Prophesy is a word given by God, God can speak through anyone at any time. One does nto have to be a prophet to be able to prophesy

prophets are people who have a special gift where they do this all the time.

I believe we should be careful that we don't make up qualifications out of the human heart and from man's doctrines. I believe alot of the post in Christian Chat about qualifications for prophets and other men of God is based on want someone came up with. The Bible really didn't give qualifications for prophets like it did bishops and decons.
1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to h"ospitality, apt to teach;"
1 Timothy 3:9 "Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;"
We don't see verses in the Bible that give qualifications for prophets. To have an opinion about who would be a prophet is pointless. The Bible doesn't give such details as are mentioned by people on this site.
Simply put YOU ARE MAKING IT UP. You would need Scriptures like 1 Timothy 3 takes about bishops and decons or your just MAKING IT UP.

It might not Give qualifications, But it can show us how to know a true prophet from a false one.

For one a false one would teach false doctrines.

A false prophet would get angry and pout.

A false prophet would look to puff himself up saying things like "I walk on holy ground" .

A false prophet would refuse to answer scriptural questions, and instead make excuses as to why they don't, yet demand others to answer their questions.

I could name a bunch more. But why bother

I did not make it up. read scripture. it will show you all those things!

I don't care what you want. I am going to expose you for who you are. If you don't like it that's too bad. (Of course you do a good enough job at that yourself by refusing to answer those questions. ) Why do you run?? Oh well. the more you run the more you prove who you really are!

You can second it all you want. I am exposing a false prophet. Your not gonna get away. Even if you try.

You think you can demand people believe your way. but refuse to discuss why people who disagree with you do??

Like someone said before. This is a bible discussion forum. If you and johnyboy refuse to discuss. You prove your true inner self!

You never use scripture to back up your false teaching. I always post scripture to back up what I believe.

if one is a true prophet who cares if they are a target....the OT prophet was tied to a tree, a wooden saw placed in his mouth and they sawed him in half. that's a target.
but he was a true prophet.

i'm a target every day, and i'm not a prophet.

it's not fear of being a target that keeps them from responding, it's because THERE ARE NO MORE PROPHETS.

A true prophet answers to God not to some mocking spirit. Its like the pharisees telling Jesus to prove himself, give us a sign! They were mockers, and Jesus had nothing to prove to them. The Fathers will moved Him. And He sought to please God. Most true prophets I would assume would be out doing the work of the kingdom in whatever arena they have be called (and being quite fruitful), not trying to prove themselves in a silly post like this lol. And before you ask what am I doing here then, Im not here as a prophet, I'm here as a person, discussing beliefs lol.
