Paul saw the ten commandments as part of the "ministry of death."

But in Acts 15 the Disciples of Jesus say not to eat meat offered to idols

Acts 15:19-21,29 “19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles (new converts) who are turning to YHWH, 20, but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21, For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath. 29, that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

Jesus also says not to do it

Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols."

Are you really telling me Paul goes against Jesus and the Disciples? This is crazy, Im not sure what to say
I'm telling you to read the entire chapter. Those who know there is only one God recognize that idols don't actually exist. They also know all things are of God.
But the admonition is given if others haven't come to this understanding and by their conscience be defiled, we should refrain for the sake of the weaker brother.

So we can discard Jesus word and His disciples word to the gentiles?

Acts 15:19-21,29 “19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles (new converts) who are turning to YHWH, 20, but that we write to them to abstain from the defilements of idols, and from whoring, and from what is strangled, and from blood. 21, For from ancient generations Mosheh has, in every city, those proclaiming him – being read in the congregations every Sabbath. 29, that you abstain from what is offered to idols, and blood, and what is strangled, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols."
No. We understand them in light of further revelation.

I asked a question. But your last 2 verses you quoted have Paul saying it is ok to eat food offered to idols and Jesus warning against it.
This really blew my mind, I need to study this more

So when Yahshua/Jesus says But I have this against you, ... is teaching and seducing my servants ... to eat food sacrificed to idols"

Any one who says no way I dont want to eat idol meat is a weak man?

and a strong man will eat even though the Savior says not to?

I feel like Im reading the word for the first time, I havent been this confused since I first started reading and seeking.

Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols."

More precisely- Paul insists that there are others who haven't come to this understanding; and therefore, we should not eat food offered to idols.

All the prophets are amazing and the Disciples of Yahshua/Jesus also, but I take YHWH's word at face value, so can you explain to me the proper understanding of this passage because how I see it you seem to disagree with. I will post it and the original for you, im open for you to explain to me and I will listen, but you cant disagree, ignore a passage then expect me to agree with your stance

Acts 3:19-23, “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, and that He sends יהושע Messiah, pre-appointed for you, whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which the Mighty One spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old. For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘יהוה your Mighty One shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every being who does not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.”

Peter quoted that from this:

Deuteronomy 18:18-19, “I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it.

"listen" is word #8085 - שָׁמַעshama` {shaw-mah'}

Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)

Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey

Peter seems to think YHWH is talking about Yahshua/Jesus and I agree.
Hebrews explains that God has spoken to His people in various ways and in the time of Jesus He was speaking through His Son. So the one spoken of who was to be heard was Jesus.
God is always to be hearkened to, regardless of how He chooses to speak.

The food offered to idols being spoken of there was part of their worship as was the sexual immorality. He was speaking to all the abominations that were a part of the actual worship service. He was not talking about the meat that was later sold to the public.

But you didnt give any commentary on those verses? When YHWH says "He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it.

What does this mean?

I dont know it seems clear to me

Acts 21:25, “But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

But Revelation was the final book written, the final message to the servants of YHWH? How could there be any further revealing?
Fair point. For that you would have to understand what was taking place during idol worship.

This is a reference to the Jews who rejected Jesus.

Not really. If the food is on a pagan altar, you don't take it. If someone takes it off the altar and sells it at the market; then it's not being offered to an idol- it's being sold for money.... and you'd have no way of knowing it was ever on an altar, unless someone told you "I took this food from such-and-such altar" in which case, you wouldn't eat it.

So gentiles dont have to listen to Yahshua /Jesus?

Also it not a statement of rejecting Him its a command to hear and obey Him and a warning for those who will not.

The meat was much cheaper. This is the reason the question came up in the first place.

All I have to know is not to partake

Acts 21:25, “But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we have sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

Revelation 2:20, "But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols."

Jesus came first to the Jews. His earthly ministry was primarily to the Jews. God used the Apostles to go to the Gentiles.

What you have there is the same thing Jesus was referring to.
