Writing in rhyme or rhythm is a skill I just do not possess. When writing, I usually have no clear idea where it is going. The writing process becomes independent, it goes where it goes and takes me with it. When considering scripture, I find the best way to understand its meaning is to try to explain it, as if to another. The process never fails. I come away with a much clearer and deeper understanding. Yes, writing becomes an act of selfishness, but it also becomes an act of prayer.

So when someone scratches their head and says "whaaa?" its OK!

I agree with your post but would shorten it to "Think and then write words."
