Jesus asked Peter the same thing, and he answered- “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.'
Jesus replied “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 16:13-17)
See, Jesus didn't reply "Wrong, I AM God"..
Jesus did not ask Peter the same thing. After expounding upon His origins "from above" to
the Pharisees and scribes, He did not ask, Who do you say that I am? He simply told them they
would die in their sins if they did not believe He was Him Who was not of this world but from
above. What of coming from above? In your mind, is that the planet Kolob as the Mormons believe?
Or He was an angel as the JWs believe? <= More questions for you to skip over and ignore.
Following your line of reasoning, of Jesus denying His Own goodness, He has disqualified Himself
from being righteous and is therefore unworthy of being said to be without fault, blamelss, spotless,
etc. What is the point of believing in Him if He cannot reconcile us to God that we may escape the
second death and attain to life ever after? Do you also deny His virgin birth?
an old forum tactic when some entity does not want others to read something is to spam a tread with posts to hide other posts. if they can get people to engage that adds more posts to bury what they don't want read. seen it many times. sometimes the best that can be done is to not engage with them till they stop and go away.
I may be new to CC but I'm 75 years old and have been doing the rounds of religious and other forums for 20 years and have quite a big 11 million following, so at least i must be saying something they like..

Like I said, I've been forumming for 20 years and am used to all the little tricks people try to pull, even satan's tricks.
For example he's got some people believing that Jesus was God, thereby disrespecting and belittling God by suggesting he worked in a carpenters shop making tables and chairs instead of attending to the universe..
Let me cut to the chase- not only is it disrespectful to belittle the glorious majesty of God by suggesting he worked in a carpenters shop, but it's possibly also blasphemous, so be very careful, the naughty step...
