Daniel gives us more insight into this "covenant with many". From all indication, the covenant is made with Israel and is part of the indignation the Jews must suffer because of the 70 weeks determined by God.

Daniel 11
[21] And in his estate shall stand up a vile person [anti-christ], to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
[22] And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

[28] Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
[29] At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
[30] For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

can you expound on why you think this indicates the covenant that is confirmed in Daniel 9 is a covenant made with Israel?

Because it all ties together. I see it blaring out of the pages of the Bible.

Explain that? We have a distinction between "the covenant" and "the holy covenant" but where do you see it being tied together with a the covenant in Daniel 9 being made with Israel?

In my observation, it appears that the Abraham Accords is the 'covenant with many" and that Emmanuel Macron of France is the man of sin to confirm it. Here's a telling quote:

“President Macron has a strong and friendly relationship with Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and with others in Israel’s leadership,” she said. “I do believe it would be beneficial for him to be involved in strengthening the Abraham Accords. After all, it’s an interest we all share. It is actually one of the rare issues that Israel’s coalition and opposition see eye-to-eye on.” - Europe should establish coordinated body on Abraham Accords - MK

August 17, 2023, this was written on Harbinger Daily:
Could An Agreement Between Saudi Arabia And Israel Pave The Way For The Antichrist’s ‘Covenant With Many’?

"We read about this in Daniel 9:27, “And he, [the antichrist, referred to in the previous verse as ‘the prince that shall come’] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [one set of seven years] and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate…”

There’s a lot to unpack in this verse:

  • The antichrist is going to make a covenant or treaty with the many in Israel for a seven-year period of time.
  • In the middle of that seven years, he’s going to put an end to sacrifice and offerings, which can only happen in a rebuilt temple.
  • At the temple, he’ll set up an “abomination that causes desolation.” The antichrist will enter the temple, declaring that he is God, and will set up an image in the temple that people must worship in order to buy or sell (see Revelation 13).

The first part of this passage tells us that he will “confirm” a covenant with Israel for seven years. Bible translations differ, saying he will “make a covenant,” “compel a covenant,” or “make a strong covenant.” Some take it as a covenant that already exists, while others suggest the antichrist will compel this covenant, bringing the parties to the table and giving them a take-it-or-leave-it deal. Whatever the exact meaning, there’s one thing that’s clear: The antichrist is going to forge a sweeping peace agreement between Israel and her neighbors that’s going to have to do with the Temple Mount area and Israel renewing its sacrifices. This event will mark the start of the seven-year tribulation." -

No.

1. Antichrist doesn't make a covenant for seven years, he confirms a covenant for seven years.

2. The Bible doesn't say "with the many in Israel", it says with many.

3. It is absolutely not clear that this covenant is a sweeping peace deal between Israel and her neighbors.

Yes, the KJV says "confirm". The Abraham Accords were established on August 13, 2020, three years ago. So, anti-christ would simply confirm it.

It doesn't say that but it does infer it as I've posted throughout this thread.

Who has attacked Israel throughout it's modern existence? The Arab nations. Israel wants peace and safety with the children of Ismael.

Why would you "confirm" the Abraham accords for seven years? Why would Israel make a peace treaty with countries that is only good for seven years? Why would they make a treaty that allows them to build the temple but only for seven years?

This term confirm means to strengthen. You strengthen a covenant that people are not keeping. If we have an agreement that Ira doesn't make a nuclear bomb and they are not keeping the covenant we would strengthen it by requiring inspectors to make sure they are abiding by the covenant.

A temporary covenant is like instituting martial law. You do it saying it is temporary, only for seven years.

Your theory is not based on the clear language of the Bible but is an inferred teaching based on logical reasoning and inference. As long as you and everyone else is clear that this is simply your best guess that is fine, just so long as you know that it is not stated anywhere in the Bible.

Well then, you must be very excited about Agenda 2030, they had 17 sustainable development goals and yet everything about it indicates there are 18 and now we have indications that the 18th goal will be to end the occupation of the West Bank by Israel. BTW Israel has the biggest delegation at COP28, 1,000 people, because they are making wind and solar major industries where they will profit. One other thing, the motto for COP28 is "Leave no one behind".

Perhaps to achieve certain goals among the parties. Anti-christ could propose seven years to give time for the covenant to produce peace and safety. Also, it's possible that Israel, before anti-christ's covenant, could unilaterally begin construction of the Temple, much like the settlements. Anti-christ would simply come along and confirm Israel's right to the Temple as part of the "covenant with many".

The great city which reigns over the kings of the Earth

Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Babylon the Great gets judged at the very beginning of the tribulation. She is the city that reigns over the kings of the earth and she is replaced by the ten kings.

Right now the US dollar reigns over all the world's currencies. When you look at the currency of a country you see their monarchs. The UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are examples. In fact Queen Elizabeth was on the face of 33 currencies. Mexico even puts monarch butterflies on their currency. We will often refer to the US currency as "dead presidents". US currency has the Lincoln memorial, the Whitehouse, and the US treasury on it, all of which are references to the great city -- Washington DC.

Revelation 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

The beast "carries the woman". Who is carrying US debt, it is the world's economy which is a beast system. We have already determined that this economy acts as a psychopath. It is totally focused on return on investment and could care less about humanity.

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

There is no doubt that the picture we are seeing here is of the Vatican in Rome sitting on seven hills, but please note that the Earth has seven continents and the US has more bases on these seven continents that most other countries combined. On the one hand the beast system when it was a colonial empire "carried" the Catholic church. They were exempt from taxes and they experienced "most favored nation" status as the colonial empires of Spain and Portugal spread worldwide. When the UK became the colonial power it was one of the daughters of the Vatican that got that role. Likewise when the US ascended to power it was other daughters as the US became the vehicle by which the gospel and the word of God spread throughout the world.

5 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Once again Rome's position on the Mediterranean can be described exactly like this, but so also can the UK's position when they were the empire on which the sun never set, and now it can refer to the US. Again, we have states, territories and military bases on which the sun never sets.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

This is the verse that makes us think this is referring to the Vatican. I would argue that the Vatican is clearly the mother of the Anglican church in England and the protestant churches in the US. The golden cup in her hand refers to the Bible. The Catholic church had it first, then it went to England with the Welsh revival and the Brethren, then it went to America.

The Catholic church and Anglican church are decked with purple and scarlet colour. Today the Mega pastors with their prosperity gospel are decked with gold and precious stones and pearls.

What is our golden cup filled with? With the US it is filled with Coca Cola, McDonalds, and Hollywood. We bring the word of God to the world and then we fill the world with abominations, idols and the filthiness of fornication.

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

These ten kings refer to BRICS, the new gold backed currency.

The 666 mark of the beast groundwork is being laid as I have pointed out in this thread. People are being conditioned and groomed, whether consciously or unconsciously. To accomplish this, a system devoid of cash must be implemented to control all buying and selling.

"Is it time to put the cash away? Taco Bell and other popular fast-food chains might become digital-only in the near future. During an earnings call earlier this month, parent company Yum! Brands, Inc. addressed plans to eventually move to 100% digital sales at its restaurants. This includes fast food chains like Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC." - Going Cashless

Revelation 13
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

"A growing number of Christians who believe in traditional morality are finding themselves without financial services, both in the U.S. and around the world, as Western leaders engage in "insufferable" actions that resemble secular "religious fundamentalists who are intolerant of other faiths. "Globally, the World Bank decided to cut off all new funding for Uganda over a bill that outlaws homosexual child molestation, knowingly having sex with others while carrying the AIDS virus, and drugging or coercing vulnerable people into nonconsensual gay sex -- acts the bill describes as "aggravated homosexuality." At home, a U.S. bank canceled the bank accounts of a Christian charity that carries out philanthropy in Uganda and the U.S. church that financially supports it." -- Sign Of Things To Come

A two-pronged approach is at work. Strip everyone of their ability to use cash by going all digital. Then, locking people out of the digital world if they don't line up with the system's ideology. The soon-coming man of sin, anti-christ, will no doubt use this system to implement the 666 Mark of the Beast.

There’s a lot to unpack in this verse:

How about this interpretation? The covenant is made by Messiah the Prince with His people during the final week, and that confirmation of the covenant is the Holy Spirit. At the end of this week (70AD), Jerusalem is destroyed by the people of the prince that did come. This fits better in my view with the destruction of Jerusalem being judgement against the unbelieving Jews, for their rejection of Messiah.

Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he [Messiah the Prince] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The word for confirm the covenant is not "make", it means to strengthen.

A covenant is a legal document, it became a testament when Jesus died on the cross. There is absolutely no support in the Bible for Jesus making another covenant at the end of the age. No Bible verse is of its own interpretation.

Remember too, the "covenant" that God made with Abraham. It's binding in Heaven, yet not with the laws of man.

They are not going to confirm that covenant, they are creating a one world religion. When Antichrist causes the sacrifice and oblation to cease it doesn't say he breaks the covenant that he confirmed. If they were confirming God's covenant with the Jews then it would be breaking that covenant. If they were confirming the New Testament it would be breaking that covenant when he puts the idol in the temple and tells people to worship the idol.
