I’m sure we are going to interpret the above different…
Ok, Tell me…‘what is the word “dust”‘referring too in this verse?
Ecclesiastes 12:7 then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
where is the dust that made up the body of Jesus?
why is His tomb empty?

The physical body decomposing to its elemental form in the first death.

PS~ Jesus' body did not see decay. ~ Acts 13:34-35 >

In fact, God raised Him from the dead, never to see decay. As He has said: ‘I will give you the holy and sure
blessings promised to David.’ So also, He says in another Psalm: ‘You will not let Your Holy One see decay.’

So with this information you provided in front of us, is Jesus now in heaven in a flesh body?
I say heck no.

How is the man Christ Jesus our intercessor/mediator if He is not a man?

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

I would say.. He was God in the flesh. He is no longer in the flesh, yet He is still our mediator.
Question still stands, we believe Jesus is in heaven at this moment, is He in a flesh body?

In some ways I believe so….
Matthew 17:2
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Granted… But to imply Jesus is in a flesh body, in heaven, presents problems across the board, on many levels.
For starters are we suggesting that the Alpha Omega was in the flesh before being born through woman?
If all men come from Adam, then Jesus being a man could not be the beginning.

Jesus said before Abraham was I, was He in the flesh when He was before Abraham?

For starters, no. Your supposed problems stem from assuming that.

Remove that assumption and there are no problems.

Unless you simply dislike the idea of Jesus being a man in heaven, which you seem to do.

Plus, it has already been established between us that we do not know the components of His glorified body in heaven.

Well, it’s not really me assuming, our ideas must fit into scripture. There are many things we utilize and don’t know the components of.

But we are left with pure observation and identifiers.

What about people such as Jeremiah?
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Do you think Jeremiah was in the flesh before being born?

Where does this line of reasoning/questioning whether people were in the flesh
before they were born come from? It has nothing to do with anything at all.

Well the disagreement with “posthuman” was
the belief that in the eternity, we will be in flesh, and so will Christ.
But I’m finding a lot of scriptures that indicate once we’re dead, we are not ever returning to flesh. But I’m learning as I go.

For instance, Jesus told the one fellow, that he would see him in paradise today. If that’s true, Jesus body and the thief's body was here a day after that, not like they took there body’s with them.

Jesus did not ascend until after His resurrection three days later... That comma is misplaced and not in the original text.

Earth is recreated or created anew, and we are there, on the new earth, not in heaven. The New Jerusalem comes down to Earth.

I realize Rev is a highly symbolic book but even so there is no reason to think we will not have some corporeal body.

I am off to bed soon. Sweet dreams!

Zech. 14:16 Then every one that survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of booths. 17 And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, there will be no rain upon them. 18 And if the family of Egypt do not go up and present themselves, then upon them shall[e] come the plague with which the Lord afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the feast of booths. 19 This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the feast of booths.
The Millennium is a curious mix of grace and law, the glory of God will be manifest to all in those days and retribution for sin will be instant, like Ananias and Saphira and Herod when gave not the glory to God. There will be wicked but they will be driven back and flee to the remote corners of the earth. These are they who once again at the end of the 1, 000 years come again to fight the city of the saints.

The millennium is as unknown to us as the present gospel era was known to the Jews. It is there in scripture in shadows. The apostolic Jews thought it had begun and they were reigning with Christ from Jerusalem, they refused to leave Jerusalem. To them the last days was expectation of the Lord coming to judge. Loud bangs and fervent heat.

They found Paul's teaching "things hard to be understood." that there was to be a delay and that the "Day of the Lord" was to be 1, 000 years. For Paul he spoke about the end times from the Gentile point of view, not loud bangs but rapture, the craetion being set free from it's bondage to decay, the manifestation of the sons of God [the Jews].

Peace be unto you ... hombre

Angels or flesh or both? The bible teaches us that angels can and do look like flesh in the OT. think of Lot's visitations, Abraham's visitations, Jesus after his resurrection could appear disappear and takes a different appearance. Jesus did not teach us certain things for a reason. As for the transfiguration I believe it was more then a vision.

Blessings.

Jesus called it a vision and the same word (horama // ὅραμα) is used that signifies
a sight divinely granted in an ecstasy or in a sleep, a supernatural vision.

It also can mean something that is seen using your vision/eyesight.

ὅραμα
horama
hor'-am-ah
From G3708; something gazed at, that is, a spectacle (especially supernatural): - sight, vision.
