Exactly, the rapture is something to look forward to, its a blessing, we are to wait expectantly for His coming to fetch His bride.

He who testifies to these things says, "Surly I am coming quickly" Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Rev 22:20 or as you say, Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God, and savior Jesus Christ

Where as the day of the Lord speaks of wrath, judgment, persecution, darkness etc

Who would be looking forward expectantly to that?

Amo 5:18
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Darkness for who?

the fact that NOWHERE does Jesus say He returns TWO more times, one being a Secret.
A person has to DESTROY the HOLY WORD of God to create the LIE Jesus is coming back on a "Secret Mission."
You people are so deceived, I'm thinking about offering you some ocean front property in the middle of the Arizona desert.
all, for the price of sand.
Even post tribbers used to recognise the difference between the coming for His bride and coming to the earth, The coming to the earth is the second coming or the second advent.

Other post tribbers will acknowledge that the bride returns with the Lord to the earth, so the events are separate and the coming for the church happens first, the question for them is when did the Lord come for His bride, 10 seconds before His second coming? 1min, 1hr, 1 day, 1 week, 1 year, 7 years?

In all the examples the Lord comes for the church first. When people try and mock the idea that pre-tribbers are saying there are two comings and therefore are in error when there is only one ,I think they are showing themselves to be so prejudiced and biased against a certain position they dont even take into account or cant see that they believe the same thing.

When you consider everything written about the day of the Lord in te OT it is about darkness, death and destruction and the prophet Joel said Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.

But Peter when he spoke on the Day of Pentecost changed wht Joel spoke about the day of the Lord. Peter said Great and Glorious Day of the Lord!

For the righteous it will be the Blessed Day

You see it will be both! Rapture/resurrection happens on the Day of the Lord and bowl jdgements begins also for 39.5 months (bowl judgements)

Short answer is for the world?
Ok… But as I’m sure you know, the day of the Lord is spoken about alot..

In Amos it says the day of the Lord will be darkness not light…

But in Zechariah it says..
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

I don’t believe in a rapture, but that’s a good point “Great and “terrible”

Okay, let's have a closer look at the bride scenario relative to Hebrew tradition since that is the argument that has been put forth. When the groom comes for his bride, it is law that he isn't to be called to war for a year, so he can focus on making her happy.

In the post-trib scenario, the groom arrives to rescue the captive bride from the world by His judgment upon it, thereby silencing the enemy so He and His wife can reign a thousand years in peace not to be bothered by anybody in black hats until the end of the Millenium when His enemy gathers its army against him and attempts to end His reign once and for all, when He takes His sword back up and totally destroys them forever and ever.

In the pre-trib scenario, is Jesus making his bride happy at the same time as He is wreaking havoc on the earth?

So many questions… but let me ask you, do you acknowledge there is a bride and a wife?

What a silly question. Anything that is reserved for the saints is AUTOMATICALLY SECRET to the unbelieving world. Indeed the parables of the Kingdom were given so that the unbelievers and mockers and scoffers would not even know what Christ was talking about. The Rapture is reserved for believing saints, so you have excluded yourself from that group.
What kind of response is this?

I said, where in the Scripture is it mentioned about a Secret Coming of Jesus?
That still benefits NO ONE, because, No One knows when the Tribulation will actually begin.
So, if there was a Verse that says Jesus makes a Secret Coming, it wouldn't matter, because, even the SAVED don't know when Tribulation begins.

Your Answer exemplifies the LIE that needs to be continued to carry on this False belief.

You tried to create a Problem, when a Problem could never be created even if Jesus said I come at Day One of Tribulation...No One, No SAVED Person, No Unsaved Person, knows when Tribulation begins. Your answer is foolish because No One knows when Tribulation begins to know if Jesus is Coming to be ready for Him.

I cannot believe you think your response is logical.

Which HUMAN BEING ALIVE now knows when Tribulation begins?
NO One Knows!
So, it does not matter if Jesus said He will make a Secret Coming before Tribulation, because NO ONE but GOD KNOWS when Tribulation begins.

I cannot believe you actually took the time, thought your post through, and believed it was a Logical Thought...even though...it would not matter if Jesus said I return on Day One of Tribulation, because, No HUMAN BEING knows when Tribulation begins.

SO THEN, WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SHOW A SECRET COMING OF JESUS?

The marriage of the lamb is mentioned in Rev 19 as well as the bride having made herself "ready" and blessing of the invitation to the wedding supper. Also withing the chapter is the Faithful and True riding a white horse that treads the winepress of the wrath of God as well as an angel standing in the sun calling to all the birds flying overhead, "Come, gather to the Great Supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, etc. that were assembled to by the beast and false prophet to wage war against the one seated on the white horse but were captured and thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
"And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded out of the mouth of the One seated on the white horse. And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh (Rev 19: 21, concluding verse). Then, Satan is bound a thousand years (opening verses Rev 20: 1-2) and saints (who were beheaded and those who did not take the mark) coming to life to reign with Christ for a thousand years (Rev 20: 4).

Seems to me this is the bride becoming one with the groom, and so we will always be with the Lord (1Th4:17).
