Well, sometimes you have to listen to others. What if Jesus told you something? You would listen to him.
Sometimes, not all the time. Combined with everything else that happened in 2020, the lockdowns and mask / vaccine mandates started to look like something else. In fact, they started to resemble some of what we saw in the 1920s and 1930s.

That is true for some, but in most cases, masks worked well. So, you went out without masks back in the lockdown of 2020, as you disagree that they work?
I wore a mask if a place of business I needed to go to required them. I didn't go to alot of places I didn't need to go to.
I live in a conservative state so the Covid mandates were minimal. And my son is a pharmacist so I had access to actual health data. I never took the shots and didn't have my kids get them. We all got Covid once and now have antibodies against it.
So I'll leave you with this...it is a lie that masks work against Covid. They do not. Government bureaucrats have lied to the American public and actually caused greater harm. Anyone who trusts government without verifying information themselves open themselves to harm.

Agreed. Masks are not the most effective way to avoid the virus. They may reduce it by a lot, but even I got the virus outdoors of all places at a free concert in 2022. Now, I wasn't wearing a mask outdoors, but the social distancing didn't help. Luckily, corona was mild, cos I got the vaccine. But, I am not going to take a 4th or 5th booster, as I already had corona. That is just the big pharma trying to milk our tax money out.

You know ... instead of leaving you could always stay and entertain yourself and some of us by engaging a Trump supporter.
I'm entertained enough by watching most of the time.

I could, but I also have a life. ;) But yeah, it can be somewhat funny.

And, one had better not resist the Left, or suffer the loss of your job or have a mob outside your house vandalizing your property.

That is also true. Both parties are at fault. Other nations laugh at our two party system in the US.

No, both sides are not. I'm not aware of any Trump-supporting mobs causing $2 billion in property damage in urban "mostly peaceful" protests, or causing nearly 3 dozen casualties. Nor am I aware of any Trump-supporters trying to kill Republican congressmen on a baseball field. Nor am I aware of any Trump-supporters cancelling people. The only incident you can really point to is the Jan 6th break-in, and for a time, there wasn't even a break-in. The authorities allowed the people in. Even so, it's the only time we really lost the moral authority, and it was pale in comparison to the madness that has yet to be prosecuted by the DoJ against the other side.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong on this. Both sides are not equally at fault. The Left is pushing for a communo-fascist movement, and too many believers refuse to see it.

Also, other nations would laugh at this monstrosity of a vehicle lifted 8 feet off the ground. ;)
I didn't realize other nations were the standard to follow.

Frankly, with the moral corruption in the UN and around the world, I could care less what France or China have to say about us.

I don't like China's gov't at all. That is something we can both agree on. Their government is fascist.

That is true as well. But that is what the US military is for. They have stockpiles of weapons. For instance, Australia banned (buy back) most semi autos back in the 1990s, and people are satisfied.
Peaceful people protesting lockdowns and mandatory vaccinations (over a fake virus) are shot with by police with rubber bullets, irradiated, and trampled on by police horses in 2021, because Australians gave up their gun rights in the 90s (by an obvious false flag).

If this is your definition of satisfaction, even a rape victim can be said to be "satisfied" if she keeps quiet so as not to be murdered. A government is a necessary evil, and so should be limited in the extent of it's power. The people's right to bear arms limits a government's power and the abuses that stem thereof.

Nah, keep the regular weapons, but ban the semi autos. A hunting weapon is okay for deer hunters and other folks, but nobody needs a semi auto to hunt for animals, as the animal would taste like lead after being hunted. ;)
Our right to keep and bear arms has little to do with hunting per se. Who are you or anyone else to decide that none of us need semi-autos when our Constitution gives us the right?

Yeah, but that gov't in the millenial reign would not be tied to two parties. :)

I think you'll actually hate the government in the Millennial Age when the Lord Jesus takes up His throne. The Bible says that He will rule with an iron rod, as well as those who will reign with Him over the nations. That means none of the left's evil agendas will be able to pass no matter how clever they think their sleazy tactics are. And He'll call out the RINOs who've been getting in the way of passing good policies who are really on the left's side.

Under the Lord's government, everything will be fair and the left/globalists won't be able to manipulate it. There won't be any Communism or other ungodly governments either.

You might feel some hope at the end of the Millennium when the Lord lets Satan out for a short time, but Satan will just embarrass himself when the Lord sends him hurling back to his prison with a minimum amount of effort.

Hello folks. I have enjoyed this site since 2018, but will be taking a hiatus from here starting 1/1/2024 as this site has become politically toxic since 2021, especially from far right folks on here, and the election cycle will ramp up in 2024. Just going to say this, our current president hasn't done much, but Trump was toxic and had some unchristian ideals. I will not debate anything here, as debates lead nowhere. I may return in 2025, but hanging out with real friends in 3D is much better than hanging out on a forum. Touching grass is better than touching a keyboard. :) God bless, and take care. Sayonara Trumpers.

For reference, I'll still be on here until 12/31 of this year.

This sounds serious!

Can you please describe the gunman responsible for forcing you to click on, and then read political threads that have or will upset you so much?

Oh, and nice job announcing your departure, trying to sound noble, while simultaneously getting in all the political digs you want!
Well done!

Guess what, it's politically toxic just about everywhere. Thanks for being honest and yes politics is getting synonymous with hatred. With China aligning with Russia, No Korean and I'm sure Iran, time is short to be lights in this world✨

Actually, the constitution simply describes and protects the rights that God has given us. That is the premise behind our system, natural law.

The constitution describes our rights but it doesn't protect them.

What if God's future government told us to social distance for a few months, if a virus spread? Would you ignore His gov't?
If God came down in a cloud, and told me to social distance:
- I'd say why 6 feet and not 6.5 feet?
- Does the virus know? Does it carry a tape measure?
- How does the virus know to stop at exactly 6 feet? How does it do that?

And do you know what God would say?

He wouldn't say anything, because he'd never tell us to do something stupid in the first place.

Why?

Because the God of the universe isn't stupid.

Rather, God tells us in 1Thessalonians 5:12 to "test" and "prove" all things.
This means we should not be gullible, but look for evidence, and facts, and use the reasoning God gave us when made us in his image.
God commands us to use our brains, and look for truth and evidence, and PROVE things out.

I wasn't being sarcastic to pick on you, I was just doing it to make a point.
Hope you have a great week.
