In heaven we will have a body of flesh and blood. Very interesting because angels can take on human form

i believe Christ rose in the flesh, and He will likewise raise us, because that is exactly what scripture says.

Romans 6:5
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection
I understand your position… I see some things within your thesis that causes problems for me…

The day of the Lord is when Jesus returns.
And when He returns every eye shall see Him

Revelation 1
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

So every eye shall see Him… And every one will be changed…

1 Corinthians 15
Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Here’s one of my problems, you say we shall all be changed into resurrected flesh body’s.

So according to your belief, When Jesus returns (Lords day) we shall be changed into resurrected flesh body’s… But this is the complete opposite of what the Word says.

Let’s look at Zechariah 14
1Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

Behold… The day of the Lord is our subject in Zechariah 14….

Look at what happens on the day of the Lord in Zechariah 14:12

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lordwill smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

The flesh shall consume away. How does one suggest we will be resurrected in flesh body’s, when we are told on the day of the Lord, flesh will consume away.. It’s gone, dematerialized, no longer exist. to decay, rot, fester, pine away
consume away, be corrupt, dissolve, pine away
A primitive root; to melt; figuratively, to flow, dwindle, vanish -- consume away, be corrupt, dissolve, pine away

Did you notice the word corrupt………….🖕

We must put away this flesh corrupted body to “enter” inherit the kingdom.

"Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.” Luke 24:39.
You quote "flesh and bones" but put "flesh and blood" in your title. It would seem that our bodies would also be "flesh and bones" (and Christ was careful not to include blood) since Scripture says that our bodies will be "like unto His glorious body". But we really know very little about the details so we should be careful. As to angels, they are SPIRIT BEINGS but take human bodies when they appear on earth. No comparison.

Had Adam not sinned, he would have at some point received eternal life. There is no mention of a new body prepared for him.
Obviously. There is no mention of Adam in Hebrews 11 either. And since God knew in advance what Adam would do, He already saw the Lamb of God slain from BEFORE the foundation of the world. Adam is an enigma.

The reason He says flesh and bones is because He said see and touch. Flesh and bones are obvious to sight and touch. It doesn't preclude Jesus from having blood.

Greetings…

The fallen angels did not take on human bodies… It seems to take on a human body you must be born of woman.. or formed like Adam. Etc
The fallen angels refused to be born of woman, they left they’re habitat; heaven, came down to earth and impregnated the daughters of Adam.

Angels can eat steak without being in a flesh body…. Genesis 18

And humans can eat angels food without being in a spiritual body… Psalms 78

I agree, the details are limited… or maybe we are just stupid.
Jeremiah 4:22
For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

is it the flesh of the saved which the prophet says will melt away? is redemption a "plague"?
is Zechariah talking about the saints or about those who join with antichrist?

pretty sure you're grossly misappropriating Zechariah 14:12 trying to make it describe the redemption of the bodies of the children of God when it's in fact talking about a judgement against the enemies of God.

it remains that Christ rose and ascended in the flesh and we will be resurrected in the same manner. Romans 6, Romans 8.

Not so sure he didn't already have it, and forsook it.
Romans tells us death entered the world through sin - so before sin, what death could he have died?
If he had not sinned, why would he ever die?

Adam would have had to eat from the Tree of Life to receive an incorruptible body to live ever after.

And he did not (eat from the Tree of Life). So there is that...

Nonsense!
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

At this point Christ is dead, his spirit has ascended but His body was still on the Cross..

Not only did Joseph of Ariamathia come get his body, Christ was preaching to spirits..

By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

And spirits don’t have flesh bodies.

Luke 24:39
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Believe what you will.

at his flesh has to die because it’s corrupt , our new bodies are made like Christs glorified body incorruptable not being flesh and blood but spirit.
but His resurrected body is definitively not spirit, but flesh and bone

this is the resurrected Christ in what you call a "glorified body" absolutely proving that it is a body of flesh, not a spirit.

i rather think what's clearly nonsense is to try to argue this is describing the resurrection of the saints:

Zechariah 14:12-14
And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. It shall come to pass in that day [That] a great panic from the LORD will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, And raise his hand against his neighbor's hand; Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations Shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.

What Paul calls "the hope in which we were saved, the redemption of our bodies" is hardly equivalent to the plague the LORD will strike the compatriots of Antichrist with.

c'mon bro. that one was nuts.

yeah while His flesh lay in the tomb waiting for Him to return to it and rise, in the flesh.

But He's also God - He can preach to spirits any time He wishes, incarnate or not... so, not sure what point you were trying to make by this?

What is the subject of Zechariah 14.. It is the day of the Lord…
So we can look at the events that will unfold on the day of the Lord.

One of the many things that will happen is…

And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth."

Will this 🖕happen on the Lords day?

So Jesus is in heaven at this time, but His flesh body was in the tomb. At some point He was preaching to spirits, who are not in the flesh, and at this time Jesus was not in the flesh either. Correct?

Eternal life isn't about life. It's about knowing God. My only point was that his original body could have existed for eternity had he not sinned. It was in support of your position.
