In heaven we will have a body of flesh and blood. Very interesting because angels can take on human form

Why not? All angels seen in the Bible and communicating with men or women take on human bodies and speak human languages.
From a prior post…
It is only by the Divine specific act of creation that any created being can be called "a son of God". For that which is "born of the flesh is flesh". God is spirit, and that which is "born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). Hence Adam is called a "son of God" in Luke 3:38. Those "in Christ" having "the new nature" which is by the direct creation of God (2Cor. 5:17. Eph. 2:10) can be, and are called "sons of God" (John 1:13. Rom. 8:14, 15. 1John 3:1). (*1)

This is why angels are called "sons of God" in every other place where the expression is used in the Old Testament. Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7. Ps. 29:1; 89:6. Dan. 3:25 (no art.). (*2) We have no authority or right to take the expression in Gen. 6:2, 4 in any other sense. Moreover, in Gen. 6:2 the Sept. renders it "angels". Angels are called "spirits" (Ps. 104:4. Heb. 1:7, 14), for spirits are created by God.

The reason He says flesh and bones is because He said see and touch. Flesh9 and bones are obvious to sight and touch. It doesn't preclude Jesus from having blood.
NOT SO. The reason Christ excluded "blood" from that statement is because He poured out His own precious blood for our redemption. Then He took it to the heavenly Sanctuary and sprinkled it on the Mercy Seat in Heaven. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (Heb 12:24)

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: ... Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he [Christ] entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Heb 9:7,12)

Of course. I already said that angels are SPIRIT BEINGS who are capable of taking human form when needed. So for you to deny that the angels who kept not their first estate is to deny what the Bible affirms.

That's the biblical explanation. So what do you have to counter that?
Adam isn't an enigma as he was a type of Christ. Jesus could have lived forever in His original flesh. The flesh wasn't the problem. The problem was the effect of sin on the flesh.

Again, this doesn't preclude His renewed and improved resurrected body from having blood.
When proving to the disciples that His body was corporal, why would He use blood. He would have had to puncture Himself.

Jesus could have lived forever in His original flesh.
I am not sure what this means? Jesus living in Adam's body? Adam is an enigma because he was given absolutely everything a man could wish for but he had to do the one thing which was forbidden.

How silly do you want to get? The out-poured blood of Christ has infinite significance, but you really think He would have blood in His body after that sacrifice? Unbelievable.

So Jesus is in heaven at this time, but His flesh body was in the tomb. At some point He was preaching to spirits, who are not in the flesh, and at this time Jesus was not in the flesh either. Correct?
If He was in His flesh, His flesh would not have been dead. there is no record that anything ever died in His presence.

i am not of the opinion "the spirits in prison" were in a prison in heaven. prison seems to be a term antithetical to "heaven"...
additionally, He told the women after He had resurrected His flesh that He had not yet ascended, so it doesn't seem likely He went to heaven immediately upon temporarily leaving His flesh.

It means that Jesus never sinned. Had He not taken sin upon Him, He could not die. He could have continued in His original body forever because it was not subject to death.

You presume since He presented His blood in glory that He now has none. But people who will be resurrected have no flesh currently. Does that mean they will have no flesh when they are reconstituted?

I guess our misunderstanding is when you say “taking human form”
Do you men looking like a human, or do you mean actually being in the flesh.

That fig tree died in His presence… But we won’t count that, exigent circumstances.

I think one of the base level arguments you have to give explanation for is…
God is spirit… and God is the same yesterday today and forever.
So the question becomes is Jesus God? You would have to deny Jesus being God, if you believe Jesus will have a flesh body in the eternity.

The fig tree didn't die in His presence. they passed it the day after He cursed it and found it withered. it died overnight while His Presence was withdrawn from it.

i have a spirit and a body, both physical and non-physical components. i do not have to deny that i exist.

surely you are not saying Christ ((a.k.a. "the mighty God" and "God with us")) is not divine simply because God was manifest in the flesh?

agree :)

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday, today, and forever.

How then should we justify ourselves either to say "He wasn't God while a man" or that "He isn't flesh anymore after He bodily ascended"

:coffee::unsure:

No, of course you aren't.

You cited Hebrews 12:8 correctly substituting "God" for, as the text reads, "Jesus Christ"

agree :)

The Angel of the LORD is called both God and a man in Judges 13

the mystery of godliness is called "without controversy, great" and i am not ashamed to be presently incapable of fully explaining every facet of it. :)

The Bible declares we have 2 bodies, not 3, not 6, not 10…. Only 2.

I Corinthians 15
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
2 bodies… celestial and terrestrial.

Again

44 There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

2 bodies… a narural flesh body that is corrupted, gets sick, has pain, and dies.

We have a spiritual body that is raised incorruptible, that doesn’t get old and doesn’t get sick… and doesn’t die unless it is cast into the lake of fire.

2 bodies…

But many seem to believe there is a third body… A flesh body that as all the attributes of the spiritual body.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The natural flesh corrupted body, cannot enter heaven… and you don’t get to make up this third magical flesh body… and call it the resurrected body…

Oops…. My bad… Lets add
Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
