My McDonalds is only a few minutes away. I eat breakfast there almost every morning.

Yeah, it’s a snowmobile. Sled is the most common word for those things in the SNOWY states of America.
Over here they call it “snøskuter”.
McDonald's is a cool place to dine in in other countries. One place I went there were professional types eating there during lunch, other places there may be kids' parties. The local one here feels slightly dangerous, some vagrants there and people hustling outside or inside for money etc.
Sounds like the McDonald's in the town next to the town where I w*rk. A bit of gang presence there (in west Tennessee? WHAT?!) and I don't go there. Ever.
But that would fit very well with the theme of this thread. Something you like doing, that can hurt you. If the grease don't kill you, maybe a bullet will.
1.i do not eat at McDonald's but i don't condemn the place either. 2. i don't do anything that i'll regret later. 3. vitamin water drinks, homemade energy drink with spinach, blueberries, bananas, chia seeds, miscellaneous nuts, cacao goji chunks, honey & water. 4. who hasn't had 1? 5. nothing.
Ok I am gonna jump in long enough to say that my nephew and his fiance have introduced us to Buc-ees. If you don't know what that is, well you don't live in the south. Anyhow, their breakfast is really good and I'm not a fan of fast food breakfast.

Ain’t no Buc-ee’s in Conecuh county, but maybe it’s too few people around to make it worth the effort?

I've been all over the country but don't believe I've see a Buc-ees. My first Carolina BBQ Sandwich was in a little store attached to a gas station that was half restaurant and half store.
Started in Texas, Buc-ee's is now in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee with plans to open new stores in Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Wisconsin. So their information says.
McDonald's has served its purpose. It's fast, efficient, the food....doesn't kill you. It's got variety. It's usually within walking distance of practically any town, small or large. And it provides breakfast, lunch, or dinner for any appetite. It's really a spectacular piece of capital consumerism. And I've been there. Plenty of times. Everybody has.
Now, though, I don't go much unless I have to. What drives me away are the kiosk. I hate using the kiosk. I know why it's happening, but for some reason I won't use them. It's bad enough not getting what you ordered from an actual person, but when you do it yourself it's just unforgiveable.

By the way if you care what the royal family is up to, that's not McDonald's. That's Burger king. That's not even our gossip.
Huh I don't do stuff I always regret.
No to the first three. Hmm I hadn't had Netflix long enough to watch bad tv series, I thought they were pretty good actually, the ones I watched, also, don't know if they are bad until you watch them, but if they start being bad and boring, I won't finish watching them. I have lots of huh dnf tv on there (did not finish) that I won't watch again.
I kind of reserve judgment until I'm a couple of episodes in. As for bad movies, I haven't regretted watching...Christmas Prince, or Hot Frosty, I just laugh at them.

I don't know who Jeff Gaffigan is, but McDonalds isn't as white trash as...Burger King. Which I don't go to, unless I have no other option.
We don't have US weekly here, Starbucks is a no go (hate hate frappucinos...just flavoured crushed up ice? And the ice isn't even slushied enough to drink) . Only seen maybe two episodes of Glee.
I guess I'm pretty good at not liking THOSE things. I don't eat big macs or the chicken nuggets. I eat quarter pounders or fish fillets. My healthy choice emergency food. When I'm close to dying and no the options, I would eat those.
It used to be the childrens hospital in my city named 'starship' got a lot of flak for having a McDonalds in their cafeteria and serving it as hospital food. But thats the only thing a sick child will eat! And they have a point.
I don't think they still have it but Ronald McDonalds does have houses where families of sick children stay near the hospital. So all hail McD's.
Hospitals also have trashy mags, that are the only good magazines to read while sick and dying cos they are so bad, and hilarious and you always want to know what the Royal Family are up to even if it's years out of date. You can't regret stuff when you are close to dying.

It depends in which country. In the Philippines, Burger King actually has better quality of food. The only thing I'll eat at McDonalds are their breakfast stuff. Their food for other times of the day isn't so great. To make their food more affordable to the poor people, the hamburgers have a lot of filler. You can tell! But Burger King doesn't use filler so it's more expensive. Not as many people go there, but I actually prefer their sandwiches over MacDonalds.
JolliBee's is the Philippine's version of MacDonalds. But I actually prefer the JolliBee in the U.S. The menu there uses real ground beef and not filler. So their hamburgers and filipino spaghetti have a lot of meat. So yummy! I wrote to the Jollibee Corp. when I was back in the states and BEGGED them to open one near me (because the closest one at that time was three hours away) - AND THEY OPENED ONE IN THE NEXT TOWN!!!! I'm in bliss!

I remember when the Maccas in my country tried to do a 'kiwburger'. Not a burger made of kiwis, or kiwifruit, but a burger that had as well as the beef pattie it had an egg and beetroot!
Then there was a catchy jingle that we all sang on the ads about it.
Macca's also tried to take over Georgie Pie, and put them out of business. They bought up all their restaurants and turned them into Maccas, and even tried to sell their own Georgie Pies in their chain stores BUT they were never as good as the original. How I miss Georgie Pie.
I'm actually more partial to Wendy's. In fact I hope to go there today after I take Dad to the doctors. As, like MacDonalds, its emergency food. I will get the value meal only $7 or...maybe the baked potato with sour cream and chives.
