dig this

... It was ordained of God that Moses should lift up a serpent upon his rod that anyone who would simply look at the serpent on the rod would be healed.

But to attribute to the rod the healing power would be idolatry.
...
The key is obedience. Obedience brings about the reality God sets forth:

Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:13-16

There came a man who was sent from God. His name was John. He came as a witness to testify about the Light, so that
through him everyone might believe. He himself was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.
John 1:6-8

John testified, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove and resting on Him. I myself did not know Him,
but the One who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is
He who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”
John 1:32-34
So true. God comes to dwell within and sins are remitted upon obedience to His command. The NT rebirth results in a person being able to SEE the kingdom of God. (John 3:3) And being born of water and Spirit provides mankind entrance INTO the kingdom of God. (John 3:5). This reality is seen in scripture wherein it reveals everyone is commanded to submit to water baptism in the name of Jesus, and provides evidence of their receiving the indwelling of the Holy Ghost as well. Both are necessary.

You skipped right over the part of John did not come to introduce water baptism, but as a witness to testify to the Light.

Water baptism was already a practice for priests before entering the temple in their service to God.

When is the blood of Jesus applied?
Believe

John 3:
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

John 5:
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life

John 6: Come, See, Believe Eat, Drink

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

ASK

John 4:
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

I think Jesus spend much time telling us when the blood would save us

John 17:2-3~ You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him. Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent.:)

if your being obedient to Gain something

it is a work

you are wqorking to earn a wage (whatever you are trying to gain)
It's called being obedient to God. If I hope to gain the knowledge that I am obeying God's command, it is not a work.
You can parse it all you want, but we were commanded to do it. Doing it does not make it a work, it makes it obedience.

I disagree, that would be a work.. your trying to gain or earn knowledge of God.. and that is nto a bad thing, that is a good thing

If you hope to gain (or keep) salvation. then it is a work. but its a bad thing, because salvation is by works, or it is by grace, not of both..

the works of the law were being obedient to the works of the law.. even that was called a work.

so to say it is not a work is to misrepresent what it really is

Dictionaries explain "work" very differently than your definition of it...

This reminds of academia and the intelligentsia of the world/science who claim that the word "theory" isn't a theory... what has happened to people's minds these days?

"Can any man forbid water, that these (GENTILES) should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." Acts 10:47-48
You are making word a soup also.
This is the context of the referenced text and the Heading is "The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit," and not "The Gentiles are Baptized in Water."

The Gentiles Receive the Holy Spirit
(Acts 19:1–7)

44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message. 45All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46For they heard them speaking in tongues and exalting God.

Then Peter said, 47Can anyone withhold the water to baptize these people? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have!” 48So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.

The blue indicates those who are baptized, and the context reveals by Whom they are baptized. The red shows Peter then asks a rhetorical question wherewith the answer to is "No." No one can withhold this water by which "all who heard" were baptized, even if they refuse them the rite of water. And this baptism is the baptism that Peter orders that they (the rest that did not 'hear' it) be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ.

You are mistaken, baptism for repentance of sin was indeed introduced by John the Baptist. It was a mandate required of all. You may want to research the matter.

"The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
Mark 1:1-5

"But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him." (John) Luke 7:30

That's not what I said. To wit: John did not introduce water baptism.

Capiche? It was already a symbolic cleansing required of priests before performing their duties in service to God.

Jesus is the Word. Believing in Him involves all He said and did. His shed blood brings about forgiveness of sin.

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Acts 10:43 The connection between the name of Jesus and remission of sin is revealed a few verses later:

"Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10:47-48)

A parallel is seen in the previously spoken words of Peter: "...be baptized EVERYONE of you in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sin... (Acts 2:38)

Amazing,

Jesus never said baptize once

yet you take a verse in acts out of context to make jesus a liar.

John was sent by God to introduce the baptism of repentance for the remission of sin applicable to all individuals. The difference is that the NT water baptism in the name of Jesus is not symbolic it brings about a God-ordained reality for all those who believe and obey.

Amazing,

Jesus never said baptize once

yet you take a verse in acts out of context to make jesus a liar.
You may want to search the scriptures:
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:15-16

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matt. 28:17-20

Luke revealed in the scripture below, that the apostles actions were at the behest of Jesus Himself. Not only did Jesus give the apostles instructions while on Earth, He also directed them via the Holy Ghost:
"The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
Until the day in which he was taken up, AFTER THAT he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:" Acts 1:1-3

The Book of Acts is a record of the Acts/Actions of the Apostles wherein they baptized individuals in water as their Master Lord Jesus commanded.

God showed me years ago that the best way to gain a proper, comprehensive understanding of any topic in His word is to compile and study all verses pertaining to it. It is His Spirit that leads into all truth and the journey will last beyond one's lifetime here.

May God Bless!
