the carpet sweeper is my best purchase

I hate loud, noisy vacs that you have to lug around and they make as much noise as lawnmower does.
One time the bag broke and dust got EVERYWHERE. I had to take it to my aunts and get HER vac to vacuum our vac.

mopping the floors isnt the most fun job beause I always miss spots. I dont have clean-o-vision

Otherwise, housework keeps me so busy, I dont have time for hobbies lol

working in some offices is extremely boring! Ive worked in windowless offices before, not fun, and everyone there has been addicted to coffee, while the boss plays his own radio/music that hurts everyone elses ears

Im hoping to adopt a cat today lol
The view is not bad and the boss plays the piano here but some days they also do actual work.

It's washing day today
Yesterday couldn't do it but the looks like the sun is out
It really does rain more on Mondays.

Very nice. I have a "smart" washer and dryer. When they're done they give me a notification on the phone so i can go from the 3rd floor to the basement to pick them up.

When there is fighting at home it is highly tempting to stay at work.

You see this is what i don't get from some of my co-workers. I guess they don't like their wives or kids but personally i enjoyed the past 3 years working at home being with my wife and my kids.
I take things as they come and i'm always grateful. God gave me a great time being at home with family and i enjoyed our lunches together and walking and biking around the neighborhood. It was also nice doing things around the house too and helping each-other. I was actually doing more work-related work too since you always have a computer in front of you.
But now that the industry is calling people back onsite for reasons involving vanity which John eloquently explained in another topic, we are now back onsite trying to nail nails in water.
So as always, i will make the best of this change and be grateful to God and take things one day at a time.

I never got married. I started avoiding home in college (I commuted) because my parents fought vehemently. Then my mom left my dad and I lived alone with him, and he was a nightmare.

Be thankful you don't comprehend it.

I have a great family too. The concept of dreading a family Thanksgiving dinner is alien to me. But I know a lot of families ain't like mine.

One thing I have learned - don't brag too much about mine when they start complaining about theirs. It only twists the knife.

Im also very blessed with not knowing what its like to not enjoy my family. Man, we sure are blessed.

I'm pretty sure they worked with Mitt Romney to balance their state budget.
Brian as a fellow skeptic you should know that No Work ever takes place in government buildings.

The best part is when people join-in the ritual of voting to make a change. That's hilarious.

I work mostly from home. New requirements are hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home), but I do a lot of overnight work, so those days are counted as "in office."
