The problem with Christianity is denominations: denominations = division which is condemned by the bible. You are of the right mindset to want to follow only the bible, ad I do too; but in that regard, you must look for the church of the bible, that adheres strictly to it and follows its precepts. Clues to the church, its organization, and hierarchy can be found in Titus and 1st Timothy. The bible says not foresaking assembly as some do Hebrews 10:25, so, you must assemble with the church to worship God on the 1st day of the week and partake of the symbols accordingly, the Lord's supper.

There is a difference between the Hebrew, the Greek, and the English, where you might be getting caught up with relating I am statements. Jesus said I am many times.
The Septuigint translates Exodus 3 as Ego Eime, and that's what the gospels record Jesus saying about Himself, which we translate as I AM.
both Ego and Eime translate as I am, so He is saying 'I, I am' literally or 'I AM I AM' i.e. 'I AM THAT I AM'

There are many proofs of His godhood. one you might find persuasive is that it is exactly what He was charged with when He was crucified - that He claimed to be God. this, they called blasphemy, because the Jews did not believe He is God.

You say you do not accept the Trinity, but you also say you believe in His divinity. perhaps you don't really understand what is meant by the doctrine of the Trinity...?

That is not true. Jesus the Son of God is worthy of worship as well. We just don't worship Him as God. God did not come to earth. God is Spirit. But Jesus God's Son did come to earth. This is according to the foreknowledge and plan of God.
Indo not know why people do not agree with this, is not the son worthy of worship also? Is there scriptures proving the son og gos is not worthy of worship?

For example, I am not Trinitarian. I don't know what else. That would probably come out in conversation. Some things I have uncertainty about.
Hello Jacob!

In this scripture the three members of the Trinity are present as distinct persons:

Luke 3: 21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Jesus
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2)

God Bless :)

Exactly.

So i was replying to a question. That being if the op has a personal relationship with Jesus. After this person has argued everyone who has tried to patiently and gently show him who Jesus is. One can not have a personal relationship with someone and reject who they are. However as of late a person can just proclaim they are a thing regardless of any actuallity. Thats my point.

Hope that help.

Psalms [[is not]] any part of the Law.
And you quoted from Psalms 82 and those are Angels, God, is speaking to.

6 I said, “You are gods,
sons of the Most High, all of you;
אָ֭כֵן כְּאָדָ֣ם תְּמוּת֑וּן וּכְאַחַ֖ד הַשָּׂרִ֣ים תִּפֹּֽלוּ׃
7 but you shall die as men do

notice Verse 7, God, tells these Angels they will die like men do.

you don't tell humans they will die like a human, they already know that.
but you do tell an Angel, that has Rebelled against God, they will die like a human. because, they don't know how it is to experience being a human and never considered death, because, they weren't supposed to ever die.
I am not sure of what you are saying. Here is the context.

Psalm 82:6-8 NASB20 - I said, "You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High. "Nevertheless you will die like men, And fall like one of the princes." Arise, God, judge the earth! For You possess all the nations.

Why does it say, "Arise, God, judge the earth!"?

the Apostle Paul, called him [...the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us...]

who did Paul say in Verse 14 "gave Himself for us?"

he said it was ...our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

Verse 14 shows us one Person is both [our great God and Savior Jesus Christ] ...because, only One Person ever gave Himself for us

which is : our great God and Savior Jesus Christ
I am not sure that that is correct. For example, see the following translation.

Titus 2:13 KJV - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Yes! I got it! It's the same as I said in the transgender thread, strong delusions. I have never seen an age like it. Reality means nothing. They proclaim they are something even if every fact says they are not.

I'm not (a Christian)...but I am (a Christian)!

LOL!
The Bible uses the word Christian. I am a disciple of Jesus, though I have never met Him. This means that I am His student.

The word Christianity is not found in the Bible. So it is interesting when people relate the two.

Yes, a believer does have faith in Jesus, but faith is given by God‘s gift of GRACE. It is written in Ephesians 2:8: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."
I believe that this verse is talking about faith in God. God's grace.

You seem like a guy who doesn't care much for creeds or historical christianity or traditions. Fine by me.

I would just keep it biblical with you.

Lets go with these few verses:

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

John 1:1,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

What we can learn from these verses, is that God was manifest in the flesh, and how was it manifest? Thru Jesus, the son of God.
"the Word" was with God at the moment of creation, John tells us this Word was God, which was then made flesh and dwelt among us (Jesus)

I think thats a really simple and biblical way of looking at it. I realize the talk of substances and persons and divine essence is completely unbiblical and can be very confusing. Me im a theology nerd so I enjoy listening to things like that.

For those who do enjoy, I once again recommend Beau Branson's speeches on the topic. Him and I are in agreement when it comes to what "the trinity" is. Here is a link to it, includes multiple videos I subscribe to the eastern view of the trinity as it can be easily defended against accusations of tritheism, whereas the western view is way too open to that accusation, especially today when people are unlearned, easy food for the JWs and muslims of the world.
I will take a look. Thank you for your kind words. I am not against the West or the Western view. I simply am not Trinitarian. What do you think of the following verse?

1 Timothy 3:16 NASB20 - Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.

Either you are intentionally playing word games or you don’t understand the words you use. The word “deity” means “god”.

I would strongly advise you to seek to understand the nature of the Trinity.
God is Spirit. God is not a man. But Jesus is Deity.

See Colossians 2:9.

Colossians 2:9 NASB20 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,

The word Trinity is not a Bible term. I do not rest in Theology but in the words of the Bible in their original languages or texts or manuscripts. However, I do not know Greek.

I am not Church of Christ.

I am non-denominational.

I do not believe in a hierarchy.

I do believe that as Christians and believers, or Christian believers, we are not to forsake assembling together as some are in the habit of doing. I do not believe that this needs to be on the first day of the week. It can be any time and with anyone that is a believer. It is good to have a church body to fellowship with. I do not know that the Lord's supper is for me. My understanding is that it was Passover. And, for Israel, they have a new covenant now.
