before you can understand Verse 5, you need to know Verse 4:

4 I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

it's a partnership.
Jesus, Glorified the Father on Earth, now it is the Father's turn to Glorify Jesus back to His Original Place when He returns back to Heaven.

you really twisted this Verse 5 way out of context.
I accept everything here but or except you saying that I twisted something out of context.

my bad!

i did not know if you caught Verse 4.

because why would Jesus do what He did [Glorified the Father] + He knew if He did it, He would get Rewarded [Father Glorifies Him].

So, this DEAL, was made in Heaven, way BEFORE, Jesus became Human.

like I said, this is a Role, played here.

Jesus was Jesus. He played no role.

I had not spent time on verse 4 today.

Many people believe that it was two angels who left from Abraham.
I'm not asking many people. I'm asking you. You are putting forth statements as though they are true. Then others are demonstrating with scripture how they cannot be so. And rather than show how the things you are claiming can be reconciled, you just say you don't know or that others make the same claim without biblical foundation.
If you don't know something, doesn't that suggest your present understanding may be flawed?

I don't recall any of this in my thinking.

It may. But I don't know. I know Jesus.

No. He was with God in the beginning. This is the importance of understanding scripture in not only it's meaning, but design. There is a reason Matthew is the first book of the NT. Because the opening of Matthew parallels Genesis.

Jesus, was always the WORD. the WORD, became Jesus.

But why did the WORD, become Jesus?

to Save us.

so, if we did not need to be Saved, would the WORD, become Jesus?

Nope!

I don't know what you are asking or why you are saying nope. I believe that the word became flesh.

I am not sure that that is correct. For example, see the following translation.

Titus 2:13 KJV - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
