What is a romantic gesture that means a lot to you. I'm not talking filthy or anything like that so please keep it clean. Just something sweet maybe even something small.


For me, it's a nice sunset. I like being up high with a really good view, watching the sun set. Seeing some mountains and a lake.

I remember Erma Bombeck was talking about her husband not being a sentimental, romantic person. She didn't get the traditional card and rose on Valentine's day. When their first child was born he punched her on the arm and said, "Way to go kid!"

But there were other things:
- Picking the slice of pizza with less pepperoni because he knew she loved pepperoni.
- Moving the car seat forward when he got out so she wouldn't have to.
- Getting out of bed on a warm night to check the house because she thought she heard a noise.
- NOT explaining how a thermostat works.
- Learning how to make coffee and where the cups are.
- Giving her the women's section of the newspaper to read first, when sports is in the same section.

She said love doesn't always add up to three little words. Sometimes it is six. "I filled your gas tank today."

Another way to show love is to get up in the early morning to get ready for work to support your wife and family. That is called 5 o'clock in the morning courage.

I think when Mothra sacrificed herself for me when I was battling Ghidorah was quite romantic.
