Because you don't follow things not found in the bible does not mean you don't follow Christianity.

Christianity is based on the teachings and practices of Jesus Christ.

There are so many doctrinal differences and different churches because they all believe they are following the right teachings.

The Bible is the right teaching so stay true to the word alone. Test all things by the word.
That may be true.

I have no idea. But we cannot be making anyone up. He wasn't any different just before Jesus the Son of God received His name.
He emptied Himself. That made Him different. He took on flesh. That made Him different.

Just two examples...

What I meant was God is the Creator and Jesus is the Son of God by whom He made all things. Maybe I don't understand. I think I am not communicating my thoughts right. In any case, I am leaving your thread.

my purpose in the Christ is God omnibus thread isn't to argue;

it is to pass along knowledge of God, to equip. one another.

if you want to debate anything i'd be happy to talk in another thread, but if you take the time to read through that thread, i've taken the same position with everyone; i want this thread to be an informational reference not a quarrel. we have plenty of of other threads to quarrel in.

like this one lol.

so let me answer your position here - -

NOTHING came into existence without Jesus Christ.
that means unequivocally that He is uncreated because not even one thing created was created except that through/by/because of/for He Himself it was created.

saying He was created, whether first or last doesn't matter, saying He was created at all is in direct contradiction to John 1:3 and Colossians 1:16 which both say NOTHING that was created was created without Him.

God gave us two extremely clear witnesses to this truth, by the mouths of two different people both speaking by the Holy Spirit.

And you really SHOULD read that thread. not just a little bit of it, but go through all. of it if you have any doubts that the Bible teaches Christ is God. it is NOT just one or two verses you think you can argue your way out of, it is evidence after evidence after evidence.
when you start to realize the bulk of testimony you are going to have to face that you either believe what scripture is saying or you do not.

Believe, and have life.

Jesus was certainly born, correct?

Jesus "emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness."

In the beginning God said, "Let us make man in Our likeness," except when man fell for the serpents lie that "ye shall be like God," man thought he would "take the form of God" but that turned out to be a disastrous endeavor. However, this comes full circle when Jesus takes the form of our likeness, emptying Himself of His glory, "taking the form of a servant, being made in our likeness (Phil 2:7)"

Man tried to 'fill God's shoes', so to speak, and failed miserably, but God the Son, didn't empty Himself "for nothing," as it turned out man did, but took off His shoes off so that we could...

I don't know if I should even try to explain. I don't know if I can. It just might be too inconceivable.

Thank you for your post. I suppose that the only alternative is that Jesus emptied Himself.

these passages leave no room for argument.

the only way Christ was created is if Christ was created by Christ, through Christ and for Christ.

a chicken laying the very egg it hatched from.

we had a whole council meeting about exactly this topic 1,700 years ago, and the answer was pretty dern well established, IIRC

The word Christ means Anointed.

Are you saying that Anointed was created by Anointed?

the man.

but The Son of Man is The Son of God.

when He said "before Abraham was, I AM" they immediately tried to kill Him because they knew exactly what He was saying: that He is God Himself.
