"The fine linen bright and clean is the good deeds of the saints" Rev 19:7,8. Also Matthew 22:11-13 is relevant.
Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and His bride has made herself ready. She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and
pure. For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.

Matthew 22:11-13
does not say that any are clothed in their own righteousness.
In fact the man thrown out was clothed that way and that is why he was tossed.

That’s not what the scriptures say. It doesn’t say anything about saints getting saved in the tribulation.
You really don't think that anyone will come to Christ during the 7 year tribulation ------WOW there will be lots of people going to hell -----Hell will have to enlarge itself again ----as most likely there will be millions of unbelievers going through the tribulation ------and no chance of them being saved from Sinner to saint -----God is saving the 144,000 ----Jews ----and He is not allowing others to be saved -----as the 144,000 preach the Gospel to people all over the world -------

Doesn't sound like My God I know -----

Yep, it says "It was given her to clothe herself"--"OBEY, for it is GOD WHO WORKS IN YOU TO WILL AND DO."

I don't believe only part of it, but the whole of it--God works in us, AND we are to obey.

What does that have to do with the fact that we are clothed in Christ's righteousness? .

Only those who remain in Him are clothed in God's righteousness, and not their own--and, to that point, Rev 16:15 says you can lose that garment.

Eh? I was quoting the same chapter. Have you no response but to once again falsely accuse me of intending to insult you?

And, do you deny that we are clothed in Christ's righteousness?
I might have jumped the gun, but seeing how you likened me to the devil

You didn’t answer my question and it’s very easy. Will there be people in heaven that are naked?

the garments can be lost, so that one walks "naked" "
If that is what you believe then you do not understand justification or imputed righteousness. Neither of these can be "lost" since they are GIFTS OF GOD.

Also, it's important because only those who "obey" "God's working" are remaining in Christ--as it says "Believe in the Name God's Son AND love one another". Those who keep those commands abide in Him and He gives them His Spirit.

Not sure how this is unclear.

1. On the contrary, it is yourself who doesn't believe Rev 16:15.

2. What makes a gift something that can't be lost? If I gave you $20, you couldn't lose it?

For me to say is simple. I believe one day I will stand before Him give account and then be rewarded or not. More blessed? As its written "For there is no respect of persons with God ". Not really the same but I am reminded of what Christ said "Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.".

Some will be rewarded greatly never knowing that small thing they did .. that one smile that caused one to get saved that in turned caused another and another. Just like the song

"One by one they came,
As far as the eye could see
Each one somehow touched
By your generosity
Little things that you had done, sacrifices made
Unnoticed on the earth, heaven now proclaims
And I know up in heaven
That you're not supposed to cry
But I was almost sure
There were tears in your eyes
As Jesus took your hand
And you stood before the Lord
And He said my child look around you
For great is your reward "

I've actually addressed this in my thread "Works Complete Faith?"

It's not difficult.

Judgment is ongoing, not just one time, so we see a believer can be condemned (not justified) if he sins (Ro 14:23). Same in 1 Co 10, etc.

It just seems like you're trying to shoehorn your other thread topic into this thread.

This remark shows that you have no clue about this important matter.

Did you want to explain why?
Paul's teaching there mirrors that of James.
I'm curious what you're objecting to.
Only those who keep Christ's command ("Believe in the Name of God's Son and love one another") abide in Him, and are supplied with His Spirit.

What are you objecting to?

I might have jumped the gun, but seeing how you likened me to the devil

You didn’t answer my question and it’s very easy. Will there be people in heaven that are naked?
More like I said you were using the same tactics that the father of all lies does, to change what was
said and then create a false narrative around it as if you are honestly representing what transpired
when you are not, simply because I had said that in 16 years doing apologetics online I'd never heard
a Christian saying men were angels before being born and will be again at the end of this age.

It was a simple statement of fact which you twisted into me having said something else and acting
as if somehow my saying that was intended to not only insult you but somehow be authoritative.
Then you tell me scholars smarter than me believe the same thing! So you falsely accuse me of trying
to use a logical fallacy that you then turn around to use against me. When called out on your errors you
refused to own up to them, put me on ignore, and then subsequently told me we could discuss anything.

Obviously it is difficult to discuss things with you when you constantly falsely interpret what I say.

I found nothing on Bullinger saying he believed men were and will again be angels.

What time line are you speaking of with your question of naked people in heaven? Right now those saved
are seated with Christ in the heavenly realm. At the end of this age all will stand before God for judgment.
Obviously those not saved will not be clothed in His righteousness.

There's the hitch: the garments can be lost (Rev 16:15).

As John says, "Abide in Him, so that you do not draw back in shame at His appearance" 1 Jn 2:28, "so that the shame of his nakedness not appear" Rv 16:15.

Eh??? Lost? It's a pretty broad and general call to be prepared clothes are an analogy.

ASV
(Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)
AMP
(“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is he who stays awake and who keeps his clothes [that is, stays spiritually ready for the Lord’s return], so that he will not be naked—spiritually unprepared—and men will not see his shame.”)
AMPC
Behold, I am going to come like a thief! Blessed (happy, to be envied) is he who stays awake (alert) and who guards his clothes, so that he may not be naked and [have the shame of being] seen exposed!

"keep his garments": the Laodiceans hadn't kept theirs.
