Jesus said that without the works of forgiveness of others, the Father will not forgive us — and of course we will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven without the Father forgiving us of our sins.
Matthew 6
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (KJV)
Mark 11
[25] And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
[26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. (KJV)
Amen but this isn’t a work
it’s faith
“But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then
faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by
the word of God.”
Romans 10:16-17 KJV
Many Christian’s will not hear what he said like in this post you’ll find many reasons why what Jesus plainly stated there for believers isn’t true for believers .
But it’s always going to say the same thing in Gods word even at judgement day. It’s not o my one place he taught this but it’s consistent in the gospel and epistles
“And when ye stand praying,
forgive, if ye have ought against any: that
your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But
if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Mark 11:25-26 KJV
This is a teaching
for Gods children the church because all have sinned all are in this boat
“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”
Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
We are all under a sentance of death for the very first sin we ever commit. This is the reason Jesus has to die for a persons sins in order to save them everyone is sentenced to death because mankind has proven themselves sinners.
If God didn’t give the perfect law of liberty this law of mercy that triumphs over jidgement nonone could be saved but because of Gods mercy the judge has spoken
“
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged:
condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.
For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
Luke 6:36-38 KJV
That mercy is going to save us come judgement day
“So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by
the law of liberty.
For
he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
James 2:12-13 KJV
If we judge people who do wrong to us without mercy we shouldn’t expect to be treated with mercy if we forgive we can expect to be forgiven if we don’t condemn everyone else for thier “ sins “ we are t going to be condemned for our flaws and imperfections we are setting our own judgement by how we treat others regarding thier own imperfections
your post here is absolutely correct
don’t let anyone take you away from that word your hearing because it’s this
“
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24 KJV
It’s wonderful to see someone looking in the right place the everlasting gospel
“It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father,
cometh unto me.”
John 6:45 KJV
