My apologies for sounding condescending. That was not my intention. But the fact that one group desires the annihilation of the other is what makes the situation binary; not my pointing it out.
Well that is good to know, I will still proceed with caution.

I am not one who likes to engage in scenarios and what "aboutisms" when it comes to the geopolitical realm.

I prefer to stick to the facts about this conflict.

Which group wants to annihilate the other?

Not true. Israel could have done so at any time. They haven't. They also have offered land for peace; to no avail.
The west would not help them do that, so no they could not. An attempt to kill off or run out the arab population would bring the entire arab world down hard on their head.

What does land for peace mean, what were the terms, which year?

All this makes a difference.

Darbyism = A Christian doctrine formed by John Nelson Darby (1800-1892) and followed by the Exclusive Brethren,
which includes a two-stage return of Christ, pretribulation rapture, and seven time periods, called dispensations.

You mean like the age of grace and the millennial kingdom?

Those represent results. Do you have a chart showing the number of unprovoked attacks?

I see. You believe that is their desire but prudence keeps them from it.

I don't really participate in discussions on *eschatology, as it is not something I have
delved deeply into beyond the basics of there will be an end to this age, at which time
those not found written in the Lamb's book of life will pass into the second death, not
being covered by the shed righteous blood of Christ, through which by grace through
faith, those who believe, have been reconciled to God and attain to life ever after.

*A lot of it is based on the book of Revelation which is apocalyptic highly symbolic literature.

I understand the age of innocence, government, law, grace, millennial kingdom, etc. But is that it?
I don't rightly know all the details of what Darby taught... just that many Christians follow the teaching in some form or other.
The counterparts of Dispensationalism are often (wrongly) called Amillennialistic and also Preterists, also not always true.

I don't know all the details or terms. And what you say is true...the details would matter. But I don't believe there is any solution for Hamas other than Israel's destruction.

I think we should all realize that the Palestinians are a proxy for other Arab nations, whether they want to be or not.

I also think it is only fair to judge both sides of this conflict with the same standard, it often seems that the judgement on Israel is much harsher as they are referred to as "the chosen people" or some other term that can be viewed as being extremely arrogant.

Assuming these numbers are correct it makes me wonder several questions.

1. This only goes back to 2008, the conflict definitely goes back to 1948, so I would like to see a picture of the full modern time period, not a snippet.

2. Why do the Palestinians remain here if this is taking place? I feel certain Israel would not have any problem with Palestinians emigrating, why don't theyy?

3. If the Palestinians renounced the stated goal to exterminate the Jews and vowed allegiance to the state of Israel could they become citizens and live in Israel?

Could you consider that Israel might be bent on the destruction of Palestine?

Many seem to believe Darby is responsible for the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture.
