Sure ot was.Not anywhere close to what we see happening in the Book of Revelation.
We are told that 25% of the world's population will die and following that 33% of those who remain will die. Nothing even close to that happened during 70AD. The book of revelation describes an army of 200 million. That is approximately the estimated population of the entire world in 70AD.Sure ot was.
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ a spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. Matthew 24:15-20
There is no way this happened in the past.

So? I said none of those things. I simply provided the verse you asked for... .Thats not about a human army. Nor is that language literal, nor is it about the warning Jesus issued in Mathew.
Also as a partial preterist there are things still yet to come.
Jesus is till yet to return
This was meant for the Jews in Israel when this happens. The Jews will be the target of the Anti-Christ.Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. Matthew 24:20 ESV
Are you under a strict Sabbath Law?
How were they going to see what happens in the Holy of Holies? They were not priest, they were not allowed in the Holy of Holies, so Jesus was talking to a future group, who would be able to see inside the Holy of Holies"Therefore when YOU see the 'abomination of desolation.'"
He is talking to his disciples.
He said when "YOU" see the "abomination of desolation."
He was neither referring to the Jews in general nor to the Jews of some future generation.
Why? They are anti Christ nowThis was meant for the Jews in Israel when this happens. The Jews will be the target of the Anti-Christ.
The Jews are not the anti-christ. Jesus spoke of the PERSON the Anti-Christ.Why? They are anti Christ now
How were they going to see what happens in the Holy of Holies? They were not priest, they were not allowed in the Holy of Holies, so Jesus was talking to a future group, who would be able to see inside the Holy of Holies
He said there will be many anti Christs, and I didnt say the. I said they are anti Christ, as in against Christ. The Jews are not the anti-christ. Jesus spoke of the PERSON the Anti-Christ.
Yes, some of the verses are referring to the temple being destroyed in 70AD, some verb tenses are present and some are future. Some refer to the gospel being preached in the whole earth, some refer to the nations, the unbelievers, and some to the future.Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. Matthew 24:20 ESV
Are you under a strict Sabbath Law?
So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ a spoken of through the prophet Daniel—Okay sure, when you use the word "YOU" you are actually referring to someone in the future cause that is how we talk.
I already mentioned the "abomination that causeth desolation" is the cruxification of Jesus, the disciples saw it.
That is confusing because "anti christ" does not mean against Christ. It means "in place of Christ".He said there will be many anti Christs, and I didnt say the. I said they are anti Christ, as in against Christ.
So your Bible is not literal? Why would you say that?Thats not about a human army. Nor is that language literal, nor is it about the warning Jesus issued in Mathew.
Also as a partial preterist there are things still yet to come.
Jesus is till yet to return
The word in Daniel can be translated the "winged idol". That is not referring to Jesus crucifixion.Okay sure, when you use the word "YOU" you are actually referring to someone in the future cause that is how we talk.
I already mentioned the "abomination that causeth desolation" is the cruxification of Jesus, the disciples saw it.
