Wing means a span of time.
Fulfilled eschatology is very consistent.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Overspreading -- כָּנָף kânâph, kaw-nawf'; from H3670; an edge or extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, (of a garment or bedclothing) a flap, (of the earth) a quarter, (of a building) a pinnacle:— bird, border, corner, end, feather(-ed), × flying, (one an-) other, overspreading, × quarters, skirt, × sort, uttermost part, wing(-ed).
abominations -- שִׁקּוּץ shiqqûwts, shik-koots'; or שִׁקֻּץ shiqquts; from H8262; disgusting, i.e. filthy; especially idolatrous or (concretely) an idol:—abominable filth (idol, -ation), detestable (thing).
Could translate this as a winged idol.
For example, this statue of Prince Charles called "Savior of the world" which is made 10 cubits high, same height as the Cherubim in Solomon's temple, because they plan to put it in the temple when it is rebuilt.

Those that know God's Word know that in the en times the Lord is preserving Israel as He will land there when He returns to start His 1000 year reign and He will rule from Jerusalem.
God still loves Israel and all Israel shall be saved and eventually they will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior... not to mention He said in His Word that those to curse the descendants of Abraham will be cursed.
And, don't forget.... Jesus Christ is a Jew!
Some of the end times guys believe the Pslams 83 war has yet to be fulfilled and when it happens only the Lord will have the power to save them from total destruction. Hopefully the US doesn't get nuked in the process!
It'll be interesting to see super natural events the Lord is doing in front of the entire world to save Israel which will probably cause even more hatred against Christians and Jews... but in the process it will cause some to believe Jesus is alive and should be worshiped.
