Who cares if I object?

Once again I will warn everyone, the only thing you need to fear is the judgement when you are on trial before God. At that time every account will be settled. So if you judged others you will be judged with the same judgement with which you judged. People don't understand that verse, they think "I'm not a murderer so I don't care". That isn't the judgement. You decided you could judge him without hearing from him or giving him a chance to defend himself. So you too will be slandered with no chance to defend yourself. Perhaps the slander is true, perhaps it is twisted, perhaps it is just a lie, but it will be the same judgement with which you judged others.

The golden rule to do unto others means we are to treat others with mercy as we also would like mercy. Yes, people commit crimes, but in many cases there are extenuating circumstances which may not exonerate them but still mitigate the punishment. I would like an opportunity to share any mitigating circumstances to a sympathetic judge, therefore that is the way I treat others.
Are you saying that we cannot call wrong things wrong or that a person did a thing that they did in fact actually do

Bush warned saddam. Not Iraq.

It would be like israel warning Hamas, not Palestinians.

Sorry But you can;t compair the 2.

Every civilian in Gaza should have known the moment rockets started firing. How long has this been going on now?

I am sorry man, I can not agree with you at all.. don;t compair what Isreal is doing wiht what Hamas did.. Israel is making sure this does not happen again. Civilians will die… Hams will not let them go. Put the blame on where it belongs. Hamas..
Every civilian in Gaza should have known WHAT?

That Israel was going to indiscriminately bomb the garbage out of them in retaliation for Hamas murdering civilians? Let's say they knew and expected that, where do they go since they are literally trapped inside their city? What could civilians, especially the children, do to protect themself from the Israeli airstrikes?

Alright, you are choosing now to not have a good faithed discussion. You asked me a hypothetical scenario and I answered in good faith. When I test your position for consistency, you just respond back with "Who cares if I object"? Clearly, that is the point of our discussion is to better understand the other's point of view. Don't ask me hypothetical questions/scenarios if you will refuse to answer mine.

Yikes, have you not ever seen the homes in Hamas? Are you even aware that Palestinians can't just pick and choose where to live unless it has been approved by Israel?

I think even people who agree with your position know these things and wouldn't be making these kinds of statements.
Israel gave them Gaza.

They allowed Palestinians to come into Israel and work and gave them water and electricity.

it was not occupied land.

The fact you do not know this just shows where your heart is..

This again?

OK, you saw something, it is a scientific fact that eyewitness accounts are more often wrong that right. You need two eyewitnesses that agree to be right more than 50%. So as far as I am concerned you saw him, great, that is enough to get a search warrant and bring him in for questioning.

Who told you that you could convict someone of a crime without a trial? That is what Hitler did, that is what Stalin did.

If someone is convicted of murder I would have no problem referring to them as a "convicted murderer". But you want me to say that about someone that you saw? It doesn't work that way, let's have a trial, lets see all the evidence. Let's hear what he has to say. It may be rare, but people are often framed.

You might think that committing suicide is a confession. Really? So you think the 100 people who knew the Clintons actually committed suicide?

So Germany surrendering wasn't the beginning of the end of the war? The end of the war wasn't eminent? The civilians needed to be obliterated in order for the war to stop? Discriminately bombing the targets as to avoid unnecessary civilian deaths would not have been enough?
Japan was not germany

Even after one dropped bomb, the Japanese nationalists and leader did not want to stop..

do you know anything about history?

Also. How much military experience do you have?

If Israel indiscriminately bombed, I could maybe barrette.. but since they have not.. Your argument has no standing.

Why even quote my response if you aren't going to actually respond to it substantively? I am trying to understand what and why you're asking these questions... They weren't rhetorical questions. What should the Palestinian civilians have done if they knew?

Is it your understanding that Israel has discriminately bombed Gaza and that the majority of the deaths are Hamas militants (terrorists) and NOT Palestinian casualties (mostly children)?

You said They could not pick and chose where to live unless israel said so

You were in error. They could live anywhere they wanted in gaza

again, what military experience do you have? What do you know about gathering info to determine what is a military target and what is not?

So the Japanese nationalists not surrendering after the first nuclear attack makes it morally acceptable to obliterate more Japanese civilians?

Why did you avoid my other questions? How did killing civilians shorten the war? We both agree bombs blow things up and they could have bombed the same military targets without using nuclear bombs. So what about obliterating Japanese civilians brought the war to an end that a more discriminate bomb would not have?

I have not been in the military. I don't need any military experience to know that the ports and military hubs were the targets in Hiroshima. I just need to read history. I also don't need military experience to know that bombing a city with 2 million civilian Palestinians in such a small piece of land will kill far more civilians than Hamas terrorists.

Now, will you please answer my questions that you replied to? You are literally just replying to my questions, not answering them and asking me questions... Perhaps I'm a fool for continually answering them in an effort to have an honest discourse with you.

You didn't ask me this, it was Locopony, and I have answered this in great detail and it is a good faith response. Who cares if I object? I want to know. Who needs to ask my permission to call someone whatever they want, no one has asked me previously so I am wondering who this person is that now wants my permission.

My goodness, we are talking about the bombings/airstrikes IN Gaza!!! lol They are trapped there! Where are they suppose to go if Israel is going to be bombing Gaza?

Where do children trapped in Gaza go to avoid the bombs/airstrikes?

I never said they are trapped in their house... they are trapped in the targeted Gaza strip! :cautious:

That is so thoughtful to let them live anywhere they wanted in one of the most densely populated areas on earth.

They were so thoughtful they even rationed the food and electricity.

Moreover, in their thoughtfulness, the people of Gaza were subjected to arbitrary detention, constant search and surveillance and sometimes torture/death of innocent women and children since 2008.

But they were given a little tiny piece of land, so thoughtful, beggars can't be choosers right?

If I am missing something, I apologize. However, I'm reading it as if you are saying "Who cares if I object" when I'm testing the consistency of your argument.

This is what Jewish exceptionalism has done to Christians, very sad!
