maybe a specific homeschool area would draw more families here.

It would probably not get enough traffic by itself. Sounds like the kind of topic for the family forum.

Thank you though. Always nice to hear new ideas, even if I don't personally agree with them. And who knows? They might make a homeschool forum. I could always be wrong.

New subforum ideas are pretty much a no. The site owner keeps the number down on purpose and to even consider adding another would need to see bigger requests for it.
He did seem to add the Arabic subforum to draw people in, and that's one of the most dead subforums on the site.
There have been homeschooling threads over the years, but they don't generate enough interest to last very long.

This should be one of the many reasons why parents should consider homeschooling.
