the OSAS peoples are claiming we can do evil works... continue living in sin.... and still be saved.

That is in fact a doctrine of demons as it's not biblical.
Do you claim sinless perfection?

1 John 1:8-10~ If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His Word is not in us. :)

False teachers are false teachers. I am speaking about genuine Bible-believing Christians. No one would dare say that.
They should know their eternal destiny since Jesus is the Savior and source of their salvation from Hell.
Obviously no real Christian would say that.

The point you guys are missing is many Christians are being deceived by these false teachers and very few are raising the issue to help people not be deceived.

There's a new mission field!.... church!

I dont say that at all.
I dont think osas actually understands salvation. Also osas dont understand preservation either.

If you ever get saved you will always be saved.

Jesus said to a man who taught against OSAS and who put his trust in his ability to do the law.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

His predecessor John the Baptist said,

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

I believed on the Son of God, so I have, right Now, everlasting life.
When does that end?

Those false prophets/ preachers who were condemned, taught that you must make Jesus Lord of your life to be saved......which are works.

Jesus responded to that....
"Depart from me, ye who work iniquity. I never knew you."
Some had even cast out devil's....
which are works.

Jesus responded to that....
"Depart from me, ye who work iniquity. I never knew you."

How did it work out for them that they thought they were saved by their works of preaching/ prophesying in the Name of Jesus?

Jesus responded to that....
"Depart from me, ye who work iniquity. I never knew you."

Do you believe that we are saved by the grace of God, or by the works of the individual who trusts their good deeds like JTL?

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

I read 3-4 pages and you have not explained what you mean. You initiated this with a much misapplied verse by many, however you never so much as explained what YOU believe the will of the Father is.
Perhaps you believe that you must live in perfect obedience to every command from Genesis to Matthew 7?
I will quit guessing.
From what I have read since you joined here, I know that you are capable of communication better than throwing out a random verse.

Do you discuss anything without bringing OSAS into it?
The greatest danger in the end times (see Math 24) is deception... virtually ALL churches and preachers are teaching the false doctrine of OSAS with their own little happy packaging to get people to swallow it.

It's poison! Just like if one was going to poison an old rabid dog.... they would put the strychnine poison in to something tasty like some hamburger meat that dogs love to eat.

This is why all the preachers and churches are so badly tickling people's ears, teaching them what they want to hear... cause they are feeding them poison which is OSAS doctrine.

This is basically what satan did in the garden and has been doing ever since... teaching that one can sin and NOT be separated from God (spiritual death).

If you ever get saved you will always be saved.
So you're view is get born again... and go back to living in sin, and you're still saved?

By saying one can never, ever never lose their salvation... by default this is telling people they will still be saved even if they live in sin... and this is false doctrine.

The devil sure enjoys hearing people believe like this as they are speaking in his behalf when they spread this false doctrine around... because they are making satan's life so much easier as they are working with satan to deceive the people in to believing that... even if one continues in their sin, they will still be saved!

1 Corinthians 9:27
I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Castaway (G0096 in Strong's) = unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate.

This is the same greek word used in Romans 1:28 when the Lord turned those over to a reprobate mind who refused retain God in their knowledge and walk with Him.

This means, Paul believed that if he did not control himself and went back to walking after the flesh HE would be unapproved, rejected, worthless, reprobate!

Obviously the Apostle Paul did not believe in "once saved, always saved" aka "eternal security"

The OSAS peoples sure hate to hear about 1 Corinthians 9:27

Mostly the OSAS crowd dislikes people misrepresenting them.

oh dear. in all my time in this forum...which is at least 7 or so years, I have not ever ever ever seen one single OSAS person claim what you are saying in the quote above from your post

on the other hand, I have seen numerous people who seem to have the same personality as you, say the very thing that you claim

I have come to the conclusion it is not a coincidence.

Your boy Charles Stanley taught this and he's considered to be the leading proponent of the false OSAS doctrine by those that admit that they follow the false OSAS doctrine!

Charles Stanley even taught one could be gay... and still be saved! Imagine that!

Here's a video where you can see video of Charlies saying this (just a few minutes into the video)

In this video, Chalie says he's proud of Andy and supports him after heresy charges

you are not being directed by the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit does not make the kind of mistakes you are so good at

I am not fan of Stanley or his son. seems your doctrine is wrong also but that is what happens when people try to employ the Holy Spirit to try and impress others

get your eyes checked

I quite imagine if those were the only verses in the Bible, your understanding might be right. But someone who speaks so exhaustively against cherry picking shouldn't have a store of cherries.
Yes. A whole bowl of snippets without a drop of context. Like bite sized shredded wheat without milk.

Jimmy thinks the Bible is his own private LEGO set.

Jesus says: 'Do your first Works!' Rev 2:5
Today they say: 'It's not of Works'

Jesus says: 'Produce deeds Worthy of Repentance', Matthew 3:8
Today they say: 'Admit your a sinner and confess'

Jesus says thru John: 'He who Does what is Right is Righteous', 1 John 3:7
Today they say: 'No one is Righteous'

Jesus says: 'Judge Righteous Judgment', John 7:24
Today they say: 'Judge not'

Jesus says thru James: 'Cleanse Self of all Filthiness and Wickedness', James 1:21
Today they say: 'All our acts are filthy rags'

Jesus says thru Paul: 'Depart from iniquity, go and sin no more', 2 Tim 2:19
Today they say: 'If I could stop sinning I wouldn't need Jesus

Jesus also said he that sins is the servant of sin, John 8:34
Today they say: blah, blah, blah
I'll tell you what, Jimmy...
If you think you can gain merit from God by building your own little tower of good works, then go for it. You have been shown the truth many times, yet you continue to twist, contort, and distort the simple Gospel truth. You just run with your own little inventions and see how far you get.

He began by saying "I know thy works..."

So they did have works but they were not the works that they did at the beginning

What works did you do to get saved?

Your boy Charles Stanley teaches that! He's the leading authority of the OSAS peoples...

He actually taught one can be a "gay christian" and still go to Heaven proving he is a false teacher!

Here's a video where you can see video of Charlies saying this (just a few minutes into the video)

always a blessing listening to Charles Stanley
