i find it quite amusing that christians want to stick the jezebel label on each other.
instead of getting serious about what's really going on.

funny how the ones who are practising Baal worship are the ones who gave us the "Jezebel Spirit" charismatic barbie-doll and we call it "church"
how foolish we are to not realize how serious this all is.

The "Jezebel spirit" is man made anyway. Jezebel was a baal worshiper who caused ISrael to worship fasle idols, and killed Gods Prophets.

What happened in the Physical, is happening(and going to happen) in the Spirit. Spirit of Jezebel(false Church/whore of babylon/false prophet). This is not about the Man made "spirit of Jezebel" this is about the Book of Revelation. Different topic. Would you like to discuss what i posted?

i think you are right on with most of your post.

the things you are talking about are all the things that the Bible calls strongholds, those things, ideas, religions, false professions, MAN'S WRONG THOUGHTS ABOUT GOD that are established in the mind.

this is due to a lack of sound teaching and study and prayer: the true Knowledge of the true God Who has revealed Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ, Whom we know about and learn from through his scriptures, YES, ONLY BY THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT.

Jesus is the object of our faith and our hope and our praise.

so i think we must make sure we KNOW the right Jesus. there are many gospels and many christs being taught and discussed. and i always love and admire your devotion to Our Lord.

i'm certain if we know the right Jesus, we all feel the same way: now the question is, how do any of us know the right Lord?

because He has revealed himself (and so the Father) to us Himself - He came to us...not the other way around. so if i understand your post correctly, you're exhorting us to remain faithful to Him Who called and washed us, and i couldn't agree more. this is what He tells us to do: ABIDE IN HIM.

but i know something else. that without Him we can do nothing. i include abiding in Him in that.
daily my prayers and my thoughts are about hiding in His skirts; looking always to Him, trying never to allow anything to be deep in that place where The Spirit testifies and comforts and builds me up.

God has not called us to stop living, now that he has raised us from the dead.
He hasn't called us to literally separate ourselves from the world, he left us in it. but rather to not touch the unclean things anymore, or love the ways of the world.

in short, i just see it as someone said once (i don't know who): Jesus spoiled this world for me, and me for this world. i'm so grateful for that because i spent my whole life looking for a safe place, a place to hide from death, our enemy. now that i died to all that, and am alive in Christ, i don't worry too much about any of it.

i find it fascinating to watch the world turning, to see things coming to pass.

i don't worry. it won't add one moment to my life, nor grow me one inch.

for me that just means that i don't look for peace anywhere but Jesus, or knowledge of God outside what he has chosen to reveal about Himself.

Early years

Corapi was born in Hudson, New York. In high school he was a football player and an
undistinguished student. In the fall of 1965 he entered the State University of New York at
Albany, but returned to Hudson after academic difficulties.
Military service

Corapi joined the United States Army on April 16, 1967 and served as a clerk/typist. He
was discharged in January 1970. Corapi says he enlisted to join the Special Forces but was
injured before completing his training.

Career and dissolution

After his discharge in 1970, Corapi studied accounting at Pace University and graduated in
1973. He joined an accounting firm in Las Vegas, where he audited hotels and casinos. In
1975 he became assistant comptroller at the Tropicana resort. A year later he took a
position with the Nevada Gaming Control Board as an investigator. He later operated his
own bookkeeping firm for about a year, and in 1978 moved to Los Angeles and became a

308 GTS and a sixty-foot yacht: At the height of his career in California, Corapi lived in a

dwindled; he sometimes spent $10,000 USD per week on illegal drugs. Corapi would later
refer to his drug use as an encounter with a demon, and his lifestyle eventually led to a
mental breakdown and homelessness following a stay at a VA psychiatric hospital.

Leaving public ministry and resigning from the priesthood
On July 5, Fr. Gerald Sheehan, Corapi's religious superior in the Society of Our Lady of the
Trinity, released a press statement through the order's news blog which accused Corapi
of drug and alcohol abuse, "sexting", having an affair with a former prostitute and
violating his promise of poverty as a perpetually professed member of the Society by
owning over $1 million in real estate, numerous luxury vehicles, motorcycles, an ATV, a
boat dock, and several motor boats. It ended by stating that "SOLT's prior direction to Fr.
John Corapi not to engage in any preaching or teaching, the celebration of the
sacraments or other public ministry continues. Catholics should understand that SOLT
does not consider Fr. John Corapi as fit for ministry."

On July 7th, Corapi announced on his website that he would not obey the order of his
religious superior to leave his home in Montana to live in community with his fellow
priests. He said he would not return to the order because he resigned from the priesthood

A nationally televised Roman Catholic priest who has been embroiled in sexual
misconduct allegations has bewildered his followers by saying that he is leaving the
priesthood.

The Rev. John Corapi, who is a member of the Robstown, Texas-based Society of Our Lady
of the Most Holy Trinity order of priests, posted a video on his website late Friday in which
he said that there are "persons in authority in the Church that want me gone." The
64-year-old also blasted church officials for their "fatally flawed" handling of allegations
against him.

Corapi is a celebrity among devoted Catholics for his appearances on Eternal Word
Television Network, a globally broadcast Catholic TV and radio network. A traveling
preacher, his appearances at Catholic conferences are known to draw upwards of 10,000
fans each.

Corapi, who railed against liberal movements within the church, gained the empathy of
many fans with his unusual conversion story. Once a prominent and wealthy real estate
agent in Los Angeles, he saw his riches crumble because of cocaine addiction and ended
up homeless for three years before checking into a psychiatric facility. He decided to turn
his life around in 1984, later enrolled in seminary and was ordained as a deacon in Corpus
Christi, Texas, in 1990. He was ordained as a priest a year later by Pope John Paul II.

Now based in Montana, he worked as a priest in Sacramento, Calif., Hudson, N.Y., and
Robstown, Texas, but was best-known for his television ministry, where he would
commonly use military imagery to describe his faith. "My mother [Mary] wears combat

Speculation over Corapi's future had mounted since he was suspended from his religious
order in March after one of his female employees accused him of sexual misconduct.
Corapi denied the allegations, but suffered a blow when the Catholic television network
that beamed his conservative sermons to millions of viewers also suspended his
appearances pending an investigation by his religious superiors. Irondale, Ala.-based
EWTN reaches 146 million subscribes in dozens of countries.

"A lot of people are shaken, especially conservatives -- they idolized him," said Deacon
Greg Kandra of the Diocese of Brooklyn, who has followed developments on Corapi
through on his blog, The Deacon's Bench. "He's very orthodox, extremely conservative.
He has professed a great devotion to the Blessed Mother and Padre Pio. He's not one of
those people who goes for feel-good Catholicism."

Corapi did not reply to a request for comment left with the media company that
distributes his sermons. A spokeswoman for EWTN and the vocations director for Corapi's

LOCAL PRIEST RESIGNS
In March 18 statement, the Rev. Gerard Sheehan, a spokesman for the Society of Our
Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, said that Corapi's suspension "in no way implies Father
Corapi is guilty of the allegation" and that "the claim of misconduct does not involve
minors and does not arise to the level of criminal conduct.” A day after, EWTN released a
statement saying it stopped broadcasting Corapi's sermons because it has a policy of not
broadcasting priests who have been suspended from ministry.

Corapi added,"For 20 years I did my best to guard and feed the sheep. Now, based on a
totally unsubstantiated, undocumented allegation from a demonstrably troubled person I
was thrown out like yesterday's garbage. I accept that. Perhaps I deserve that."

David Clohessy, who directs the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, known as
SNAP, issued a statement which read: "We have spoken with one of Corapi's victims and
find her very credible, and our hearts ache for her and her family because of the pain
Corapi and a few of his misguided loyalists have inflicted on her. We have mixed feelings.
We are grateful Corapi has quit, because he'll have less protection and access to
vulnerable Catholics outside of the priesthood. But we're sad because it now seems less
likely that those he exploited will ever see justice."

The public face of Corapi is that of a one-time Green Beret who became a millionaire in Las
Vegas, and owned a mansion in Malibu, a Ferrari and a yacht, but lost it to drug abuse that
left him homeless in Los Angeles.
