No, only God can make a Christian. He will do this for all who realise that they are sinners, and who are willing to change and turn away from their old way of life. Then they must accept the death Christ as the full payment of all their sin and know that Jesus rose from the dead to rule and reign on high.

One becomes a Christian when they believe Jesus ( His teachings ) and trust that the Atonement Jesus secured by His death on the cross pays the penalty for their sins...

It is very easy because Jesus died upon the cross and rose again to set you free from your sins, but you need to fully yield yourself to Jesus Christ and be willing to let Him change you into the person He originally intended you to be. This is, of course, the right thing for all people to do, but some are too proud, selfish or greedy. You must totally yield yourself you Him. The Bible describes this as "calling out to Him" or "opening the door" or "believing upon the Lord". You can do this right now. Now is the best time. We never know if today might be our last. Christianity is a personal relationship, not a religion. Jesus literally wants to place His Spirit within you right now to comfort you and guide you unto higher and deeper understanding.
It is very simple and easy indeed. The thief on the cross is a fine example of humbly coming to Jesus...

This man understood that he was a sinner and that there was nothing he could do to save himself. We ALL need Jesus.

God reminded me of His word that says…

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Most importantly, I had not repented.
God commands us to repent.

And the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Without repentance, we are doing our own will and our own pleasure, every day.

Before salvation, I thought what does this mean.
My yoke is easy
My burden is light
Oh! What a change, when we let the Saviour into our heart.
To have His yoke, directing us into His will.

That's an awesome question Taraskye.
One of the most famous questions in the New Testament was very similar!
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..."
Acts 16
