BEHOLD the rapture, the resurrection of the just.

Matt24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mark13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Notice that the angels gather together his elect from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
That’s because the angels are the reapers.

Matt13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Matt25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish.

Five made Christians made it and five Christians didn’t make it

Yes, you are right Peter. what else is true is that the rapture is a very small side note. in both 1st Corinthians 15, and 1st Thess 4 when it talks about the resurrection of the just, it say....Oh, and by the way if your not dead when Christ returns you will also be translated. The main even is the return of Christ in which the dead in Christ will be raised, the fact that those that are alive at His return will also be translated is a very small side note.

The fact is 99.99% of all believer will die, maybe .01% will live through the Tribulation to be raptured.

You may be right 4runner you may be right.

For even the two witnesses are killed by the beast, and I am shoer they walked uprightly in Gods will.

God has to lit the evil people fill their cup up with iniquity.

Revelation 2:10:-- be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

If you read all of Matthew 24 you'll notice that it compares that day to the days of Noah. Important question: in the days of Noah, who got carried away, the wicked to death and destruction, or Noah? So when one is left at the millstone and another carried away...which is which?

The reason Jesus compared His return to the days of Noah is because the wicked didnt believe that the flood was coming until it came, and destroyed them all, thus will it be when Jesus returns. The wicked will deny He is returning until He returns and destroys them all.

Especially when you think about the fact that al the dead in Christ from the cross until His return will be resurrected. the amount of believers that will actually be ''raptured'' in very minute

It always seems confusing to me. One place it looks like he gets us first then another place it looks like he takes the wicked first.

I believe in the rapture. Lets be ready. When I think of the virgins I think the 5 had the Holy Spirit and the other 5 didn't have him inside of them. Makes me think of all the people who say God doesn't talk that they don't have him and will be left behind. Makes me sad.

That doesn't make sense. he destroys them. At the same minute brings them up to heaven to judge them. Why not just take them up and judge them. there eternal fate is fat worst than being destroyed on earth. Which according to your theology has no meaning. "poof I am gone (felt nothing) Poof I stand in front of God to be judged.

What Is God playing a bad joke?

I am not sure what you are talking about. He destroys there physical bodies by fire at His return. but the judgment or ''white throne judgment is not until 1,000 years later.

Good observation.

When Christ returns at the second coming described in Mat 24, the tares will be removed and tossed into the lake, just as the evil folks were removed and killed by the flood.

1 Cor 15 and 1 Thes 4 talks about the good people being taken up to meet Christ in the air.

Another difference: In Matt 24, the people are asking for signs of the end, and Jesus gave them signs to look for. In the church epistles, the books written to the christian church, there is nothing about signs at all. We are simply told to wait for the coming of the Lord.

1 Cor 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
2 Thes 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

1 Cor 15 and 1 Thes 4 are not talking about the second coming, where Christ returns TO the earth to fight Armageddon, they are talking about a separate event where He will come for his church. This will happen before the tribulation starts.

Nothing about rapture before the great tribulation in those Bible verses.

Last week you said Matt24 could not be the rapture because the angels gather together his elect not jesus.

But now I have shown you in the scriptures that reapers are the angels at the end of the world, so you can’t say that any more.

“When Christ returns at the second coming described in Mat 24, the tares will be removed and tossed into the lake, just as the evil folks were removed and killed by the flood”.

Matt 24 is Christ’s first coming, there is no other scriptures showing Him coming before that.

Bad Christians and good Christians let both grow together until the end of the world.

Matt13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Matt13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

When Christ spoke those things, nobody knew about this time in which we are now living. This church age was not known about, it was "hid in God". Christ was talking about, and to, Israel, who WILL go through the trib. We'll be gone before the events Christ is speaking about in Matt occur.

Where does it say that?
Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Rom 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

In Matt 24, Jesus is speaking to Israel.

God bless.

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Jesus is talking to all God’s children

If Jesus is speaking to Israel of the flesh. Then not one of us would be saved

Jesus is talking to all God’s children

Jesus was talking to the 12 disciples in matt24 the ministers of the word

You are scratching at straws with this pre-trib nonsense

Your not saying that Jesus did not come to bring Salvation to the Gentiles are you?
Jesus was sent to Israel. It is noted several places in the bible. As a result of what He did through his sinless life and sacrifice, this time in which we are now living was made available. Early on, even the apostles (Peter) was astounded that Cornelius, a gentile, could get born again. It took awhile for the Jews to accept that gentiles were welcome.

And everyone that comes to faith in Jesus is His child, a member of the elect....right?
