Powerful statement from the Son to His Father about His hatred of wickedness.

5:4 For You are not an 'el who has pleasure in wickedness.
Evil can’t live with You.
You hate all workers of iniquity.
5:6 You will destroy those who speak lies.
YHVH abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Ooops missed a line. Corrected.

Consider the implications of knowing the Son is praying the following verses. His prayers will be answered. He describes the wicked which Paul also quotes in Romans. Then He prays they will be held guilty and accountable for their transgressions.

5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth.
their heart is destruction.
their throat is an open tomb.
they flatter with their tongue.
5:10 Hold them guilty, 'Elohiym.
Let them fall by their own counsels;
Thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions,
for they have rebelled against You.

Then He prays for penitent believers who take refuge through Him and love His Name.

5:11 But let all those who take refuge in You rejoice,
Let them always shout for joy,
because You defend them.
Let them also who love Your Name be joyful in You.

Knowing this is the Son's prayer is so revealing. He asks the Father to search Him for any iniquity. Then He says in the second part of verse 4, that He even delivered those who without cause are His adversary. That would be the Salvation He accomplished for us. He refers to His Glory in verse 5. The humble Lamb of YAH trusting Himself to His Father.

7:3 YHVH, My 'Elohiym, if I have done this,
if there is iniquity in My hands,
7:4 if I have rewarded evil to him
who was at peace with Me
yes, I have delivered
him who without cause was My adversary,

7:5 let the enemy pursue My soul, and overtake it;
yes, let him tread My life down to the earth,
and lay My Glory in the dust.
Selah.

Now that is magenta. magenta white horse. magenta green trees. magenta land. You sure are using lots of
colors now a days. The new panels are color explosions of soft complimentary colors. Plus the way you overlap
things and have impressionistic qualities is beautiful. The creativity in them has blossomed over time. There is
a huge difference between your early ones and what you are doing now. Spending your Sunday nights here has
been beneficial for your art. (it was joke, it was only a joke)

please add whatever you want to the thread. liven it up and make it as colorful as you can. He is all about color and
light and beauty. Since you have that many ready, it could be a record of your work and progression over time. get postin.
Okie dokie! .:D:giggle:. My designs have pretty much always been very spontaneous and experimental, and if I believed accidents
happen (I don't, really) I might say it was an accident I even started doing them, because it was not really my plan to do so.

Psalm 23 is fairly popular and well known/loved. Here are some of my creative musings on it.

Psalm 23

Psalm 23:4-6

Psalm 23:4

Psalm 23:1
Thank you for your interest in and appreciation of my work! .:)

Gorgeous. Especially like His face in the last one. Where did you get that? It resembles some of the renditions that were done based on the Shroud of Turin. His face looks so lifelike and real and as you would expect Him to look. Friendly and calm.

The colors are beautiful too. Thank you for these. Don't recall seeing these before. That brightens up the place.

Is that an eastern bluebird next to Him on His throne? Why did you pick a bluebird? Is that a ram in the throne one too?

Wonder if His robes and cloths were colored blue and red and purple because that was the color of the veil in the Temple to the Holy place, which of course represented Him and His humanity. He is depicted by some artists wearing those colors.

I don't know what type of bird it is... but there is always the association of our worth being greater than that of sparrows (I know they are not blue, heh) and I did for a time almost always have birds and butterflies especially and sometimes dragonflies in my panels. Yes, a deer, not sure if I would call it a stag? With the antlers "blooming." My soul thirsts being connected to a deep desire for God as a deer pants after the stream (which is Psalm 63)... That same blue bird is in another panel as well, lemme see if I can find it...

Another panel I did with that same bird is here (<= link), though it looks like I removed
the twig to have it simply sitting in the lower left corner, and I altered the colour as well.

I often have to adjust the colour of every ephemera just to make something look more natural, but I can
also adjust the colour to make it blend in more and match more harmoniously with the rest of the panel.

That last Psalm 23 panel has a background blended in that started out looking like this:

Yes, that appears to be an eastern bluebird based on the pictures from a search. They are beautiful birds.

I have seen that painting of Him with the sheep before maybe. It looks like the artist used the Shroud images as the basis for His face. It is an excellent painting and so lifelike. Have seen others by the same artist before which are also quite real looking.

Mostly I used hummingbirds, but I have quite an array and don't like repeating myself .:giggle:

I think that shepherd image was offered from an assortment as laptop desktops or backgrounds.
I used to have a folder just for what I labeled "Christos" but rarely access it any more. It had
Christ-like figures and faces, angels, doves, wings, aura-type special effects, crosses, grapes,
statuary, and other ephemera I could use that fit into that category. I had begun constructing
my own shepherd type figures, but some people really objected to them as if, even though they
would say we are not under the law, they acted like I was breaking some commandment. Ha. So
I stopped, because even though I disagreed with them, I was not wanting to offend anyone either.
Even so, every once in awhile I will do a panel with a figure strongly suggestive of Jesus.
.:D

My Christos folder has 1,226 individual items in it.

Here is a Psalm 2 panel .:). It is from April of this year...

Yes those 2 verses go together well like bookends. Psalm 2 is amazing with Father, Son and Spirit each speaking in different verses. And with the Son even quoting the Father speaking to Him. Strange that people do not bring that up in the Trinity debates. Do not engage in those much anymore since no one wants to acknowledge that the Father, Son and Spirit are speaking in the Psalms which pretty much answers the debate. It also reveals the Son's humanity as He lived it. He was betrayed with a kiss too. Maybe that was a kind of mockery to precede what He was about to go through. Thank you for the panels.

There are some great recent Shroud of Turin vids on yt. They recently found that right below His face it says Yeshua the Nazarene. A number of the vids discuss that. One said the Romans tagged the body with something. Strange they would have left it there when entombing Him with the aloes and flowers around His body. They also identified the crown of thorns as a plant

From Psalm 5
From this evening...
wow. putting those verses together like that is beautiful.

Psalm 13 is the Son during His passion and death.

Psalm 13
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.

(Son to Father)

13:1 How long, YHVH?
Will You forget Me forever?
How long will You hide Your face from Me?

13:2 How long shall I take counsel in My soul,
having sorrow in My heart every day?
How long shall My enemy triumph over Me?
13:3 Behold, and answer Me, YHVH, My 'Elohiym.
Give light to My eyes, lest I sleep in death;

13:4 Lest My enemy say, “i have prevailed against Him”;
Lest My adversaries rejoice when I fall.
13:5 But I trust in Your mercy.
My heart rejoices in Your Salvation. (Yĕshuw`ah)

13:6 I will sing to YHVH,
because He has been good to Me.

His enemies thought they triumphed over Him when He died. It only lasted a few days though before His Father answered His prayer and raised Him to life and victory over His enemies and death. In other Psalms He said He wanted to see again and sing to continue to praise His Father. The last stanza of Psalm 119.

Yes. YHVH was good to Him and raised Him back to life and put a new song in His mouth of praise to His Father for resurrection Life.

ooops. Had an old reply started about the Shroud and forgot to remove it before quoting your post. Was going to say that pollen from the crown of thorns was found on the shroud and it is some plant that is localized to Jerusalem. Need to verify that though. In any case, the pollen evidence on the Shroud has been studied extensively and proves it is what it appears to be.

Thank you Magenta for your colorful panels and combining verses so beautifully.
