ok we are going 4wheeling boys are waiting for me but i gotta write this down. I said b4 we 4wheel to the lake i gotta grab my camera. My youngest 5 said yeah mom cause if we find a stick thats too big to fit in the suzuki you can take a picture of it to remember it by. ROFL sticks are very important you know!

These stories are so cute! One evening I called my sister-in-law to chat, and my nephew was right next to her. She told him to count to ten, because he is 3 and is learning his numbers. So he did, and she said, "Now say I love you, Aunt Jaimy." He was so funny I heard him say,"Why? She's not here!" It makes me smile now when I think about it.

I'm a teacher's aid at a small christian school, and the people I'm staying with have a 4 yr old boy. Today, I took too long getting ready and when I got to the table, everyone except the kid had eaten. He saw me bow my head when I prayed, and he was like, "why you do that?" I told him I was praying, and he said, "that not how you do it...you do it like this!!!" and grabs my hand lol
I was working with one of the grade 1 students, and he was doing his handwriting. I noticed he'd been staring at me for a bit, so I looked at him, and he was like "you know, you're really quite beautiful. actually you're pretty hot." :O He also explained to me that "Santa Claus froze to death, so they had to make a new one." lol Where does a 6 y/o get this kinda stuff? lol

Hahaha, ... I love that this thread is still going a bit. Kids have all the best stories.
The other day the son of a friend of mine.. by now he must be.. what.. four? five? had been outside "helping" his dad mow the lawn. He has a younger brother and another younger sibling on the way, so he's well and truely earned his identity as the "big boy", and though he is small and adorable, we've all been enjoying noticing how grown up he is getting.
So anyway we're sitting around doing whatever it was and the back door tears open revealing the full volume of the mower and in he steps, wooshing the sliging door shut behind him and he looks so tough and competant in his lawn-clippings-covered outfit complete with cap and sunnies and a pair of earmuffs ... he struts hastily across the room and heads for the bathroom while anouncing in his gruff little Aussie accent, "heya mummy... I gotta wee and poo"
My friend and I had a good laugh while she called out "ok... thanks for the update".
Haha the bigger they get the more it surprises you when they remind you with their language or open innocence that they still are only little.
Not as funny a story but a similar reason for a laugh when my oldest nephew came out of my bathroom asking loudly in front of everyone "Auntie Ellie which is the button to flush the wee away?" Haha.. oh I just love him so much.
I think he meant which button was the half flush rather than the full flush, just to clarify cos I'm not sure if they have that in other countries. If you haven't done number 2s theres really no need to use so much water when u flush so toilets here have two buttons so u can be water efficient.

the other day while driving home the song beth by kiss came on the radio. My son asked who did that song I said kiss... he said kiss isnt a band its a type of country music... I said "what where did you get that from?" He said well the other station we always listen to is kiss & country. LOL

I have been trying to teach my daughter patience lately (she's 2 years 8 months) so when she wants something I make her wait a few minutes. If she gets upset I say "You need to be patient." A couple night ago daddy put her to bed and about 10 minutes later we heard noises so he went into her room and he said "Young lady aren't you suppose to be asleep?" and she responded with "You have to be patient daddy."

In one of our houses growing up, the upstairs restroom was broken so my sister (3 o4) and I were told we could not use it. Well, my sister decided she would anyway. Dad then asked her why she used the upstrairs restroom when she had been told not to. She then went and got a Bible, help it upside down, pointed at it and said, "But it says right here I could." Now how do you argue with that?

I haven't been living with my cousins for the past few weeks. The week I moved back home, the 2 yr old went upstairs to my old room and told his grandma 'Estrella no upstairs'. She asked him if it made him sad and he said yes. When my aunt texted that to me, I nearly cried. The 1 yr old still calls me 'mama' when she sees me. I miss my babies!

when my autistic son was 3 playing in the yard, the teenage boy 2 houses down came home with music playing loud. My 3yr old yelled out, "turn that off!" The nieghbor boy said " Bite me!" My son yelled back "Bite your self!" Everyone that was outside on that warm summer day busted up laughing.

O.K. guys - my oldest- at age 3 we took him out ot lunch, I asked the waitress if she had a kids menu, she said "no, but they could make my son a grilled cheese sandwich." My son's lip curled out and he almost started crying, I asked what's wrong? He said " I don't want a girls cheese sandwich I want a boys cheese sandwich!"

Last year I got a cat and called it Pickles, my two year old niece tells me "Silly Tia (spanish for aunt) you cant name your cat Pickles. Pickle is a food not a cat."

We have a cat named Pickles too!! I babysit for a living, and the kids are always saying things like "I love Pickles!!.....the cat! not the food!" or "Can I have a pickle?? to eat...not the cat!!!" hahah it's fun around here!

we were living with a nephew who was like three. he used to cry whenever my mum was leaving the house. so my mum became a little serious on him and whenever she was leaving for work, she would hold him very nicely and then tell him. '' king (his name), there is no reason why your crying''. this happened for quite some time. when his parents took him home. the dad told us that whenever he would cry, he would sit down and tell himself.''king, there is no reason why your crying''. we found that amazing.
