Warmish day today, summer is creeping in.
Had to do a special shopping trip, a little further away, and happened to need a fill up on petrol.
A surprise to find it for $1.87 Ltr.

Another surprise when a very old Chevrolet in perfect condition pulled up alongside at the opposite petrol pump.

Nice, it takes you back.
Amazing how time does fly.
I walked up to the Chevrolet and said to the young driver, I’m just looking, very nice car.
They drive their showpiece cars on the weekends here.

lemme guess.....Your a mechanic, or you have more cars than the Sheik of Arabia.
No, but with a daughter that drives and heavy snow requiring 4WD autos, we have 4 total, the newest being a 2009. I wouldn’t call myself a mechanic, but I will tackle simple tasks like brakes or struts.

Nice to be able to do your own mechanical work. My Dad overhauled his manual gear box.
And my son converted his automatic to a manual.
I’m just still amazed.

in order: on the hunt for old items & antiques at sales, a chat with a fellow antique dealer, a talk with some musicians to see if we're compatible to form a band, ( we will have a go at it), 1 chess game, dinner at a fine restaurant in which i enjoyed artichoke creamy soup, filet mignon, mashed potato & vegetables, my wife had fried cheese pirogi's & a salad, so far.
